Pale golden ale, small white head, that went fast, slow carbonation.
Honeyish aroma, sweet and malty, buiscuity, some small grassy hop.
Sweet and malty at the start, then dries out real fast ,leaving a small bitter after taste.
Lager like consistency on the palate, but very dry and a fast finish.
A beer for hot weather nightly session.
Simple stuff but drinkable. theisti (1700), Leawood, Kansas, USA

Hey,it was the closest thing to Kölsch glass that I had. This is a great Kölsch. It pours clear yellow, with a nice white head that sticks around. Aroma is faint, but there is grass and other earthy notes in it. Touch of sweet maltiness at the start, then dries out to a slight bitter finish. I like my Kölsch cold, quick and drinkable - this one hits it on every front. Not any depth to it, but hey this isn’t the style for it. Did I just use "hey" twice in a review? To the literalists, I suppose it was three including the question. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada

Everything a klosh should be and maybe more. Page 381 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 288 of his 500 Classic Brews

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 4, 2007 Bit of cheesy aroma greets you on a pale yellow lager with moderate head. Fair taste, a tad sweet and dry but satisfying. Smooth though thinnish mouthfeel, I have had much creamier kolsch. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2007 500ml Bottle:Crystal clear lemon pour with a bright white, fluffy head the quickly rims the glass. The nose is light, with notes of dirty hay, grass, honey and sweet peach and apple esthers. The esthers become pronounced in the body, with more apricot and apple notes. Still, this is quite thin with little malt definition. This lack of depth does make this drinkable though, a great session beer. This could be the first step in the right direction for a BMC drinker. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 26, 2007 500ml bottle; sweet malt nose with honey and a note of vanilla; crystal clear gold with a good sized white head; flavor has some graininess, sweetness with only the tiniest hint of citrus hops. Not enough hops for the style, but tastes OK. May be an older bottle but has no date.
