Slight spicy hops and sweet honey on the nose. Gold with a very slight orange hue. Clean honey sweetness, with a medium hop flavor. Very effervescent and refreshing. Nice finish. An excellent Ale substitute for a Pilsner.

[WBA styles tasting] Clear yellow color, with very minimal foam. Grainy, bitter aroma. Quite yeasty, with a certain mineral quality. Honey. Dry, nutty aftertaste. Very mellow bitterness.

Draft. Interesting sweet fruity-bready flavor. Flavor declined sharply as glass warmed during normal sitting. Easy drinker yet nothing that blew me away.

Bottled. Clear pale golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Quite refreshing. Malty with notes of bread, metal, grain and a slight crispy feel.

500ml bottle from Battersea BF 08. Pale gold with lasting white head. Typical lemony light style of beer. Man, I love kolsch. So refreshing and light. Just so beautifully lemony, light and refreshing. Great lager. If I ever did a hard days work, this is the beer I would want first of the evening to slake the thirst and refresh my body and brain.

Lekker biertje. Of komt dat doordat ik hem drink op de vooravond van carnaval. Hij smaakt lekker zacht.

500 mL bottle, poured into a Pilsner glass (I didn’t have a Stange handy!).
Appearance: Light golden color, much like a macro international Pilsner, but much lovelier. "Spun gold" is an apt descriptor. A nice, small head, and lots of carbonation-bubbles.
Nose: The aroma of summertime. Fields of grain, wonderful smell of hay, and a nice modest hop aroma. I would call the overall aroma sensation, "beer."
Taste: A lagerish-ale. Nice notes of grain, a pleasant smooth-bite, reserved hops (quite refreshing), with a lovely grassy finish that reminds me I’m drinking a traditional ale and not some bland mass-produced Thing. Very subtle throughout.
Palate: smooth, smooth. Refreshing, no complaints.
Overall: Remember this one for summertime! This would be great for a summer afternoon, although it fit the bill on this warm January day. G. Oliver is apt in calling it a "lawnmower beer." It’s not a knock-you-off-your-socks distinctive brew, but its overall agreability serves it quite well. Reissdorf would be a wonderful introduction for your Miller/Bud/Coors friends into the wider world of beer.
With food, veggie quesadillas, good pizza, and lighter grilled fare would fit the bill perfectly.
