| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Bottle from my friend Steph...thanks! Pours a very pale orange color with a high level of effervescence, but not much in the way of a head. Sweet, malty aroma with a decent dose of corn. Flavor is, well, pretty bland...not nearly as sweet as the aroma would have suggested. Grassy notes abound, as well as a bit of bread, and a bit of malt mixed in. End is both sweet and bitter...not bad but not good. Felt a bit light on the palate, even for the style. Definitely a highly sessionable, crisp beer, but I’ll go elsewhere for my Kolsch needs... | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 28, 2009 This beer has a nose of fresh brewery steam wtih a touch of flowery hops. A refreshing cold entry opens with fresh toast and a touch dry muscat grape. Imagine a pilsener with more body in the middle. Bubbles and soft hoppiness make this beer a clean and refrehing delight. Little pricey, but this is the genuine article. Maddog (256), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 27, 2009 A Kolsch. Now there’s a style that I don’t know much about. I am really trying to broaden my beer horizons. With an appearance that looks like an American lager, you wouldn’t think this would be much of a beer. The aroma is that of saltine crackers and straw. This is a very light, smooth and clean beer that has a crisp finish. Flavors of grass and grains. A refreshing summertime beer. skoll (151), Traverse City, Michigan, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Bottle. Boured pale gold with medium white head. Lots of carbonation. Light grassy and sweet malt aroma. Light malt flavour, crisp edge. Not much finish. This is a serviceable session beer, or after hard work on a hot day. towerjac (33), Lansing, Michigan, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Beer pours golden with a foamy white head. Crisp clean taste that doesn’t linger. I have never had a beer of this style before, so I’m not quite sure what to say other than it is absolutely delicious. I could drink these all day long.
