2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Medium gold color with a longlasting sudsy head and lots of carbonation. Mild aroma of strawberries, cherries. Light bodied and spritzy with a soda pop quality to it and a nondeScript sweetness. The finish was sparse with some hoppy bitterness. I haven't run across many Kolsch beers and this looked interesting but it didn't really pan out.

Cloudy amber with frothy white head that held on for a bit. Wheat nose. Slightly acidic taste. Light and clean. An unremarkable but effective thirst quencher.

Really light and thin. I really expected the worst from this beer, but I was surprised. Light yellow, with a white head. Not bad, Not great. This beer would be great in the summer.

Bottle. A very good kolsch, the dryest I have come across, and very quaffable. I should put my cards on the table and admit I am a big kolsch fan, and this is one of the best. It seems slightly fizzier than some, which lends a peppery quality to the flavour, and allows the bitterness to cascade over the back of your throat. I wish I had been able to try it druaght in Cologne...
