Pours a light straw color with a two finger sticky foam. Nice bready aromas with a touch of fruity yeast peaking through. On the palate its clean and refreshing with nice light round maltiness adding some depth to the body and great mouthfeel. A great session beer with all the attributes a beer of this style should have. Yum.

A generally sweet aroma with touch of pale malt. Flavour has sweet, slighty sticky feel. Malty with only a light bitterness. Quite a soft mouthfeel although gassy enough to cause some loud burping!

A big disappointment: the carbonation, being far too strong, was so dominant over all other features it ruined my day. Now this surprises me reading that others found carbonation mild. A bad batch?

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Allendörfer. Aroma: lightly lemony and hoppy. Appearance: small, white, initial head that quickly disappeared. Clear, medium-yellow body. Taste: lightly sweet, initial flavor and finish with short duration. Palate: light body, watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: Refreshing and easy to drink. Very good.

Light fizzy head and golden color. Aroma of pear, citrus, and grain. The beer is crisp and refreshing with some flavors of apples and bread. This is a pretty nice Kölsch! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2013 0.5L Bottle at home, Clear golden colour with a white foam head. Honestly i can’t describe any aroma, taste is good and drinkable, but nothing special. One of the lesser Kölsch i have had.

Half Litre bottle, poured into pint glass. A: Golden colour, clear, one finger head which didn’t hang around too long. Looked lively. S: Chardonay and cork, more hop content than other Koelschs. T: Grape, wine gum, rubber, less bitterness than some Koelschs, wheaty finish. M: Crisp texture, light body, well carbonated. O: Hard to find fault, balanced, crisp, reasonable depth.

Bottle with fantasy, pours gold with thin head and lacing. Notes of german malts, german hops, fruit, plum, belgian scents and grain. Light body and refreshing which is usual for the style. As far as german brews go, this was drinkable.
