Solid beer. Very refreshing, very lager-like. Enough body and flavor to keep this from being bland or boring, though.

On tap at Rosamunde in Oaktown. It pours a clear light gold color with a small white head. The aroma is lightly fruity and malty with hints of honey and floral hops. The flavor is the same. Mild fruity esters up front with pear, apple, grape and more pale malty flavors coming through mid-palate. Hints of floral hops. Mild cardboard and florals in the finish. White grape is what seemed to come through the strongest for me. Pretty decent, sessionable stuff.

Clear clean golden with a thin film of white cap. Bright clean blonde cracker and a light grassy hop kiss on the nose. Clean crackerlike flavor with a delightful slightly fruity hop kiss and a light effervescent bitterness.

Reissdorf Kolsch is a great example of a Kolsch. The flavor is perfect and is matched by the color. The beer was poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Can’t go wrong with this beer.

Bottle. Pale gold with a white head. Aroma is grainy and grassy with a little peach and some herbs. Sweet and grainy, slightly buttery. Modest bitterness but dry enough at the end. Herbal and a bit lemony there too. I remember liking this more, but it’s pretty good.

Bottle traded with Deanso. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, soapy skunky malt. The flavour is light bitter with a light hop bitter palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty awful.
