Aroma is floury with grassy hops and some ripe fruits - feels a bit like hefeweizen. Flavour is yeasty and floury with some grassy hops, ripe fruits and hints of cardboard. Also hints of spices and gingerbread. A bit messy, like a dunkelweizen with belgian hops.

500ml bottle from Alko. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Esthery, yeasty aroma with the somewhat sour aroma of buckthorn berries clearly present. The flavour has some sweetish malt, yeast and sour berries with hoppy bitterness. Buckthorn dominates the finish. A bit of a mish-mash that fails to excel.

Bottle. Golden, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, some caramel and light bread, light berry fruitiness and herbal hoppyness, some yeast. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light bread, faint fruitiness, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish - sweetish, light caramel and faint sourness, light notes of barnyard, light – some herbal and vegetable hoppyness, light yeast. I do not get these spiced ales. This one reminds me of homebrew gone bad. Not so enjoyable.

Draught @ Oluthuone Leskinen. Hazy orange beer with lacy head. Phenolic yeast notes coupled with mellow sea buckthorn juice, orange marmalade and mixture of grassy/fruity hops. Earthy notes too, like Brett, dunno if it’s intentional or not. Crisp and dry, slightly grainy pale malt base, with yeasty sourness some hop bitterness. Peculiar, but pleasant, finish has sea buckthorn juice, fruity hop flavor, medium bitternes and perfumy /crisp/slightly sour Belgian yeast. I find this stronger version an interesting brew with serious personality, and would love to buy a few bottles home for aging. So far, the best beer either from Hiisi or Rekola.

A cloudy, orange beer wtih a very big and blond head. The nose is mix of fruits, tartness, green apples and spices. Taste of berry tartness, yeast, apples, dry spicyness and sea-buckthorn. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation. Strong tartness with apple and fruitness, quite nice beer.

Bottle 50 cl @ naamat. Pours hazy copper with a medium head. Nice pine hops aroma. The flavour is unbalanced, liquorice, hops, yeast. Promising bit not quite there.

Hazy reddish beer with decent head. Aroma has lots of sea-buckthorn berries, some sour and hoppy tones. Light malt flavor, with lots of sour berries and hints of citrus. Medium to medium full palate, with long finish. Slightly odd cross-over, but I kind of like it.
