Nice one with some hops and straw. Vegetables, acid and herbs in the back. Drinkable and unusual. Nice one.

Pours out of the bottle (Thank you, Patrick!) in a red-dark brown colour with steady head and medium body. Aroma of woods and pomegranate. Taste of spruce, citrus, hops, bread and cherries. Fruity and spicy finish. Liked it.

There’s clearly much spruce/herb aroma. I can taste it too, though. It’s quite thin and bitter too.

Dark reddish color, small white head. Berryish, sweetish aroma with some spiceyness - maybe spruce sprout, hints of resin. Light bodied. Spruce sprout flavor is dominant. Berryish sweetness, low bitterness. Interesting brew, but not enough substance to carry to the end of the bottle. Also quite flat, could use more CO2.

Bottle from Prisma Hyvinkää. Hazy brown. With low head. Malty chocolate and grenadine aroma. Raspberry flavour. Mild and watery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reddish brown beer with a permanent head leaving lacing on the glass. Aroma has dark malts with spices. The taste is sweet and spicy. The mouthfeel is a bit thinner than medium. The spiciness in this beer is a bit overwhelming.

Amber-Brown beer, hazy. Let’s just say that this one is full of spruce sprouts, all the way. Some slight notes of bread and herbs also some light sugar/sweet syrup flavor on the background. Medium palate, not so easy to drink. Spruce Wayne of the Finnish Beers.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, keller. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, strange sweet - fruity - berry - raspberry ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130405]

Smell of malt. Copper colour, beige head. Aroma of rubber, earth, basement. Medium bitter. Very artificial overall.
