Drank from a bottle at home. The beer is quite sweet in the Belgian way. There’s something in the palate I don’t like though.

500ml bottle from Finn, thanks! Rocky fawn-coloured head with a solid stand, Fragile lacing. Clear rosewood coloured body. Aromas of figs, caramel and earth. Sweet flavours of raisin, figs, syrup and dark malts followed by a nice little coffee bitterness to the aftertaste keeping all sweetness at bay. Soft in the mouth. Medium bodied. Nice (Tromsø 18.05.2014).

Olipa hienon designin lisäksi aivan mahtava olut. Olisi tähän aiemmin pitänyt tarttua.

Bottle. A clear brown beer with a small, beige head. The aroma has caramel and some dried fruits, as well as a roasted touch. Some notes of higher alcohol. It’s medium to full bodied, semi-dry and with a soft carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee and chocolate in the flavor, with a little bitterness. A messy one, going in too many directions at once, in a non-good way. 140228
