from a can. pours clear very pale hay-ish with a small white cap, large-sized bubbles surfacing. perfumy pears, sweet lactose-like sugars, kind of nice floral bouquet, apple juice and booze. some phenols too. almost aggressive carbonation, light body, no balance. enjoyable when perfume liquor and cloying soda-pop are your daily beverages. DP.

Can shared with northropfrye. Beautiful crystal clear appearance, not quite the same as water, almost clearer and more enigmatic. Faintly sweet aroma of elderflower and pear. Flavour is rather subtle, but I like sugar. I’m also getting hints of cotton candy.

Pretty nice aroma of perfume, elderflower, which I am familiar with from St. German liquer. Very flavourful but perhaps a bit too sweet, not very complex, and a little sticky. Still, it does taste good. Appearance wise this is as dull as can be. Very clear, faintly yellow. I will say that the alcohol is very well masked, considering it’s 7% there’s no booziness to it, not even a vinous aspect. Overall, not too bad.

Can, consumed (okay, only partially consumed) during our family golf tourny on the weekend. Not sure how this one made it past the admins, as it is a flavoured cider. Anyway, cut to the chase-- this is an oversweet mess. The Elderflower flavour is nice, but way to amped up and artificial. My teeth ached after half the can. I’m pretty sure I rated this once before...

Tall can, bought because it’s Swedish and I want to try more perries. Appears they only sell this in Canada (?) Almost clear, carbonation like soda... in some ways this is almost alcopopish but it’s saved the the elderflowers, which seem 100% real. Yep yep!

Pours clear and almost colorless like white wine. It has champagne like carbonation and has a very sweet candy like aroma. Flavour is nice sweet with a nice pear flavour. It is bold and fresh, but a little sweet. I wish there was more going on in the finish. But its pretty good.

500mL can I came across at random in my fridge at home, replaced for something someone else drank of mine. Pours sparkling clearish green pink, no head. Aroma is really nice, green apple, pear, berry, no booze. Flavour is like sprite, with some berry syrup added, with a dry finish. Very sweet but not cloying. Spritzy on the palate. For something 7%abv I don’t feel the booze much. Meh, I’d don’t really get why perry and cider is included on this site, but I didn’t have to pay for this so I’m not all that upset about ’having’ to drink it.

500ml can from the lcbo. pours clear light green with no head and high carbonation. very floral with bright fruit and low acidity. highly drinkable for its weight.

500ml can. Looks like a glass of viscous water with a small head and some carbonation. Big floral aroma is still sweet and somewhat medicial. One of the most interesting cider/perrys I have tasted. At first it tastes like the doctor is trying to get me to take my medicing by hiding it in perry. Fruit taste but the pear gently rises. Really cool floralness and etherial quality. Lasting dryness. My son (24) says this is what they serve in Rivendell.
