500ml bottle. Tangy bitter aroma with grassy notes floating over a bit of stonefruit. Lovely golden ale colour, smooth long lasting head. Bitterness on the taste is nicely rolled along by a smooth sweet tone; fading to a lip-smacking citrusy hop aftertaste. Bitterness is very moreish, but not too rough to prevent you enjoying the next taste or the food on your plate. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture, lively flavours fizzing around your palate. Perhaps my favourite summer-afternoon-on-the-deck sup.

Bottle. Pours with an average sized foamy white head over a golden straw body. Citrus-ginger-pine resin aroma and taste of passionfruit and citrus. Warms the mouth and finishes with a moderate lingering bitterness.

Resinous, earthy NZ hop aroma. Light copper golden colour. Similar flavour, clean and crisp hop with a sligh malt sweernes to balance it out. Reasonably xmooth in the mouth.

a bit run of the mill APA, nothing really exciting, maybe bottle freshness was in question...

500ml bottle, batch 0074. Beautiful hop aromas abound and are the most impressive feature of this beer. Passion fruit, pine, resin, citrus, some ginger aromas. Small mostly diminishing creamy head leaving good lacing. Malty flavour is mostly overpowered by strong bitter fruity flavours especially grapefruit. Moderate duration crisp bitter finish. Moderate to thin mouth feel, dry texture.Tingly zesty carbonation goes well with citrus aromas and flavours. Enjoyable but I enjoyed their Elemental Porter much more.

Large frothy white head on a hazy orange body. Passionfruit was what I smelt first up then some pepper. Taste is citrus and fairly bitter only at first, mellows out, medium body and a touch dusty.

Bottle. Deep amber gold with a foamy off-white head that retains beautifully and decorates the glass with delicate lace. Very fragrant hop aroma of tropical fruit and citrus zest. Flavours of sweet honey-kissed malt and passionfruit, grapefruit, and resin. Finish is crisp and bitter and of medium length. Perfectly balanced, with a medium body in spite of the big flavours-- dangerously quaffable. Fantastic!

Draught at Creek Pizzeria (opposite the Brewery), Blenheim. Pours golden with a small white head. Malt, fruit and pine dominate the nose. The flavour is malt and heaps of fruit. Medium bodied. Dry and bitter finish. Great beer.

Pours a hazy deep gold with a white head. Malty aromas strong with some citrus, probably grapefruit, and a hint of yeast. The flavour is very bitter with peppery hop and roasted malt, which moves through to a watery grapefruit and lemon character. Clean on the palate, with a pepper and burnt malt aftertaste.
