UPDATED: NOV 28, 2010 Tap at the local taphouse. Great beer. Aromas of grass, flowers, caramel, and a hint of citrus. Taste has a long, bitter finish. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Yellow, with a frothy head.

Amber gold, thin off white head. Sweet fruity apricot/peach/citrus aromas. Lots of citrus taste and quite a hoppy bitterness that has some pleasing pepper and zing to it. Little thin but lenghty finish. Hoppy & different, like it.

500ml bottle. Wow. Big creamy head atop a dense golden body with large bubbles making up and settling quickly. Bursting with big juicy hop aroma that are floral, piney and oh so good. Flavour is robust with a citrus aftertaste and tangy fruitiness that lingers.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2010 A pretty decent APA by way of Kiwi hops, which seem to have a rough round the edges quality - more so than your ’3 cs’. Nose was pineapple and pine through a garden shed and the mouth was similar.

Bottle. Lovely honey-gold hue. Aroma of lychee, mushroom, lemon rind, earthy hop. Forthcoming aroma. Thin body with light carbonation. Nice lemony-dry flavors with floral accents and a crisp hop bitterness in the finish. Decent session beer.

Golden - a little bit dull. Thin head. The aroma is a little bit medicinal and a tiny bit citrusy. A light bit of bitterness. This has a hint of herbal hop. Fairly dry, crisp and slightly lemony finish.

500 ml bottle Aroma: good slightly grassy hoppy smell. Appearance: Medium golden brown colour and clear, frothy, thin head and fine lacing. Taste: hint of sourness, hoppy bitterness is distinctive. Palate: medium to full body, slightly creamy texture, average carbonation, and short bitter finish. Overall: Very hoppy, fills the mouth. Aftertaste is pleasantly yeasty.

Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy orange with a huge rocky white head. Some lacing as this falls away. Nice aromas of US style hope with heaps of citrus and pine needles. A little bready yeast also. Whilst subtle aromas are quite nice. Flavours are a little harsh to my taste. Heaps of passionfruit and citrus from the hops and not much else. Really lacks something to balance the hops in my opinion. Mouthfeel is quite watery. Finish is very bitter and harsh.

500ml bottle. Tangy bitter aroma with grassy notes floating over a bit of stonefruit. Lovely golden ale colour, smooth long lasting head. Bitterness on the taste is nicely rolled along by a smooth sweet tone; fading to a lip-smacking citrusy hop aftertaste. Bitterness is very moreish, but not too rough to prevent you enjoying the next taste or the food on your plate. Medium bodied with a slightly slick texture, lively flavours fizzing around your palate. Perhaps my favourite summer-afternoon-on-the-deck sup.

Bottle. Pours with an average sized foamy white head over a golden straw body. Citrus-ginger-pine resin aroma and taste of passionfruit and citrus. Warms the mouth and finishes with a moderate lingering bitterness.
