Bottle from BrewDog AGM. It pours slightly hazy light orange, with a massive white head. The nose is grass, orange fruit, creamy and sweaty sock. The taste is straw, resinous hops, orange squash, citrus pith, grapefruit, spice and grass, with a bitter-dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Not bad.

This beer was way way too carbonated. It was a little bitter and had a dry feel. not the best

Bought it in a 50cl bottle in NZ. Nice golden colour. Good amount of froth , Bit too bubbly for my taste though. Very nice bittery taste typical in pale ales and accompained with a full body.

(bottle) Poured one pint of hazy amber beer and one pint of foam. Nice zesty grapefruit hop aroma. Light body and fizzy. Pleasant malt with lots of hop flavours, but not a lot of hop bitterness. Tangy grapefruit and some peppery spice. Some pleasant bitterness in finish. Overall a nice APA but spoiled by the ridiculous effervescence.

A good rich ale which has good flavours. Not overly hoppy, but you know you are drinking a good beer. Quite dry which means for Joe Bloggs not going to be a favourite.

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2013 amazing 500mL bottle. Pours slightly cloudy deep golden with a small white head and a nice grapefruit/grassy aroma. Very nice resinous/fruity flavour with a sweet malty backing (golden promise?).

From bottle. Pours golden with white head. Fruity hop aroma, pineapple and grapefruit. Taste is same with slight caramel malt backbone. Lots of hops on the taste, plenty grapefruit, vert tasty. Slight bitter finish. Good shit

08/09/2011 Brasserie 4:20 (500ml bottle). Ambrata chiara, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianco sporca, abbondante e persistente.

[500ml bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk] Blonde pour, with a fluffy white head. Slightly oaty, zesty lemon aroma. Some hops on the palate. Reminded me more of a golden ale than an APA – until the aftertaste, when that Cascade zing arrives [19082011]

Bottle at Craigs. A blonde pale ale with passion fruit aroma and flavour. Aroma is a little sweet with caramel and barley also. Similar flavours. A little thin but OK.
