Zekada (143) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - SEP 20, 2014
Bottle from Beermerchants.com. Smell of hops and raisins. Pours black with creamy white head. Taste is sweet with some slight bitterness and some grassines and hops. A bit too full in body but decent enough. Overall an okay beer which is pleasant for a black IPA. Although a bit too porter-like.

jonnyguns (913) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 20, 2014
Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a pitch black with a khaki head. Nose is quite earthy with nice hints of pine, citrus and cocoa. Taste is quite resinous with juicy citrus hops and generous hints of dry cocoa coming through. Pretty well balanced and extremely drinkable. Great stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brenhophead (559) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 19, 2014
500mL bottle into a spig IPA glass. Pours a cola brown with a dence mocha head and an amazing chocolate/fruity aroma. The nice earthy chocolate seems to dominate the flavour with some stone fruit/ tropical fruits.

HopRedHead (360) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - SEP 17, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours Samuel L Jackson with a short, khaki head. Aroma of leather, cocoa, citrus, pine and earthy spices. Drops off a lot in the mid palate, maltier flavours kicking on like cocoa and tobacco. Nice rich, bitter finish picks it back up again, resin and pine lingering. Solid.

Narkee (12) - AUSTRALIA - SEP 12, 2014
Pours black with a purple tinge when held to the light. Finger width head which has strong retention. Aroma is strong pine with subtle coffee, mango and grass. Bitterness upfront which mellows and driven by pine and a malt sweetness. This carries through with a strong favour of roasted coffee beans. This is an absolutely cracking beer.

Davros (1946) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - AUG 26, 2014
Pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma of piny and grapefruit-like hops alongside some roast, spicy rye, passionfruit and peach. Similarly fruity flavours, more passion fruit and gentle roast. Not as much rye though.

danlo (1169) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - APR 24, 2014
500ml bottle. Black-brown colour, foamy tan head and aroma of fruity hops and roast malt. Taste is sweetish roast malt & chocolate with fruity hoppy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roast bitter finish. Very drinkable black IPA.
