COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Designed first and foremost to be served on beer engines and in the future as a cask or bottle conditioned ale, this beer is inspired by the boldly hoppy Ales of old that were exported from Britain to the furthest corners of her vast and glorious empire, Voyager I.P.A. is a rich satisfying Ale with an emphatic hop bite.

It is brewed with pale ale malt from Canterbury, and small additions of European specialty malts to yield a malt base on which to build its hop edifice.

We generously hop it with two Kiwi hop varieties for bitterness then finish it with Fuggles (as a nod to I.P.A.s British origin) and New Zealand bred Riwaka hops for a spicy floral finish.

Bomber from local Yamaya. Large caramel nose, sweet and thick, piney hops. Light copper brown. Pleasant and balanced initial, somewhat unusual bittering emerges in mid, sweet and lightly bitter finish. Medium-heavy. Malt-heavy stuff.

500ml bottle, pours gold / amber with a fluffy white head. Ripe fruity aroma, caramel and toffee, floral notes. Full bodied with an almost creamy texture. Light bitterness on the finish. Nicely balanced. Good beer with pleasant hoppy character but not enough punch to make it special.

A nice IPA, lots of hoppy aroma and flavour of a slightly different character than the usual american hop suspects. Nice but not really exceptional.

Bottle, gift from Andrew. Hazy amber body with a thin off-white head. Low carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma if toffee apple, caramel and citrusy hops. Flavour of pine, lightly roasted malt, flowers and resin. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A solid, malty IPA.

Bottle from deeside drinks. Pours a slightly hazed Amber with a nice white head which slowly fades. Aroma is pretty malty on the nose for an IPA, some fudge and pine with mild citrus notes. Flavour is grassy with a pine and slightly lime finish. A solid tasty beer that is very morish!
