2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 7/20
It’s a plain, easy to drink blonde ale that has no real faults but nothing to really set it apart either. Still a bit too big to be a true session, but it fits the definition of lawnmower beer.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma; bready malt aroma with a slight grassy hop smell. It pours with about a finger and a half frothy head and is slight golden, but yellow in appearance. It is hazy too. Slightly sweet at first, but a strong bitter taste followed by a dry finish. It has a light body with a slightly textured feel, average carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, it is a good representation of an american blond ale and a good session beer.

Draft at the Publik House. Pours a hazy blonde color with no head. Light malty nose with a hint of citrus. Smooth taste with citrus notes. Very easy to drink. Good for a nice, summer day.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at the taproom. Slightly hazy straw color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Yeast, fruit and bready malt in the nose. Light-bodied with favors of fruity yeast, toasted malt and mild hops. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Average overall.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the brewery. Gold-yellow and clear with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, light citrus fruit, bread and light bitter hops. Similar flavor, crisp and easy to drink with an average body. Nice, mild and sessionable.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at the brewery: Pours orange/gold with a white head. Aroma is bread, yeast, and a bit of hops. Taste is also yeasty. Easy drinking and crisp, but I really have little to say about this beer, except for the yeastiness. Not bad.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
16oz Can. The pour was a clear pale yellow with an average (1-2 finger) white fluffy head that reduced down to a medium film with a small collar and had fair runny lacing.
The aroma was of a light biscuit malt, grassy hops and a funky cheesy yeast with notes of citrus and some kind of adjunct.
The taste was lightly sweet with a bready malt backbone and a slight graininess from the start, becoming just a tad citrusy with a very mild hop presence towards the finish. The flavor lasted only a short time after the swallow, with an lightly bitter American adjunct finish.
Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery yet slightly creamy texture and a soft carbonation.
Overall this was a brew with a very mild flavor, which is typical of an American light ale. Although it was not a bad beer by any means and would make a good light session brew for those hot summer days... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, herbs), with light notes of celery and hair spray / ammonia.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic.
Finally a Renegade brew that’s not swimming in diacetyl, so kudos to the brewery for that. Sadly there are other off notes instead in here, although thankfully they aren’t all that strong. Still unfortunate, though, because if the chemical and vegetal flaws were cleaned up, it would probably be a decent quaffer, albeit not terribly exciting.

Good cream ale. Little corn, very minor fruit...apricot? Other than that, lawn mower.
