Sweet aroma with some coffee flavor. Great smooth stout that is dominated by a chocolate and coffee flavor. Very drinkable. Thinker

Pours pitch black with a medium mocha head. Aroma has big roastiness with just a slight sweet peanut butter hint. Flavor is roasty and sweet with notes of dark chocolate and coffee...peanut butter is very subtle but present. Mouthfeel is medium/full and creamy with a roasty and slightly bitter dry finish. Pretty darn good stout overall but triple that peanut butter or more!

On tap NYE 2013. Black as night. Sweet aroma. Hints of cocoa and peanut butter. Extremely big and rich. Very sweet. Slight backbone of peanut butter, cocoa, and a nice bitter finish. Very sweet and not sure I could drink large quantities of this.

On tap at Mtn Sun during Stout Month. Pours a murky brown with no head and no lacing, one of the murkiest beers I have seen. Aroma is chocolate, peanut butter, sweet/sugary, lactose, roasted malt, and dark malt. Flavor is roasted malt and lactose up front, fading into chocolate and mild peanut butter flavors. Dark malt, nutty and bitter in the finish, lingers briefly. Alcohol is incredibly well masked, essentially undetectable. I must admit I expected a stronger chocolate/peanut taste but at the same time I am pleased they didnít overdo it with the adjuncts. Very soft carbonation, medium to full body, and a chewy texture. Very smooth. A sweet, smooth, and deceptively strong beer.

Tap. Pours opaque black with a small, frothy tan head, short retention with light lacing. Aroma is chocolate, peanuts, roast malt with dates. Flavor is malt dominant with peanuts and chocolate and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

On tap at brewery. Pour is pitch black with a small brown head and decent lacing. Hazelnuts, Nutella, cocoa, roast, espresso, rye, and light smoke in the aroma. Taste is chocolatey, roasty, nutty, nice peanut butter notes, vanilla, wood, and peat with a lightly smoky finish. Slick body with soft carbonation. Super well-balanced and easy to drink with no signs of alcohol, which is amazing for 11% ABV. Another great beer tonight. Awesome!!!

Rich black in color with a thin light khaki head. Rich chocolaty aroma with brown sugar and a soft nutty tone. Big flavor profile with a good long linger. But itís almost too sweet. Itís definitely a dessert beer, not for afternoon sippiní. Itís got a hefty dark chocolate tone with some soft peanutbutter tones. Not too much peanutbutter, but it brings extra character. Itís pretty sweet and chocolaty with a soft espresso tone, with an extra roasty quality in the middle, ending sweet and stouty, with a molasses/licorice chocolate finish. Not shabby.

On tap at Renegade poured a clear dark reddish brown nearly black with a small lingering brownhead. Aromas of roasted malt, peanut butter, dark chocolate and carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roastiness, dark chocolate, peanut butter and carmel with a smooth lingering chocolate peanut butter finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery is thick black with thin dark tan head, aroma has notes of big peanut, roast, caramel, some booze, hints of chocolate, coffee, and slightly roasted notes. Taste was a nice peanut butter and chocolate mix, a bit heavy on the alcohol, but nice roasted and coffee notes to go along with the sweet peanut butter. I dig this!

Tap at Renegade - deep black pour with a dark tan lace - rich and inviting nose of bittersweet chocolate, molasses, anise - no peanut butter to speak of - slick mouthfeel - smooth, full body - moderately bitter and even lightly tart up front, giving the impression of a strong dark chocolate - becomes moderately sweet and a little boozy and alcoholic through the middle - very mellow peanut butter and milk chocolate arrive late, but if you didnít know to look for it, you might not pick it up - finish of spicy alcohol and lingering dark chocolate - I was expecting a messy gimmick brew but got a fairly decent imperial stout instead - no complaints there.
