4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Beautiful triple IPA. Great head. Pours like honey. Tastes tart and summery. Almost like a wheat, but packing 2 times the flavor. Hints of lemon and clove.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz. can. Pours a thin off white head, over a hazy dark gold (SRM 6) body.....nose is toffee/caramel, light pine, honey tones......taste is light honey, toffee/caramel, moderate sweet throughout, leading to a moderate bitter hop finish.....mouth feel thick, sticky, lightly astringent, alcohol warmth present, carbonation adds light foam, with acid zing. This is a heavy, sweet I/DIPA, whose hop characteristics are very different from the usual types. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small off white head with fair retention and minimal lacing.Hazy, gold colored brew. Juicy nose ,pine and citrus with a hint of garlic. Body is med/full with a soft carbonation, lil resin, lil acidic. Danky hop flavors, earthy and fruity with a slight bit of sweet caramel malts trying to balance them out, but to no avail. Big finish, resiny, piny notes, fairly bitter. My threshold for buttery notes is apparently low. Hmm. Props to stumpy for the 4 pack.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz can. Pours hazy copper orange with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is dank piney summit hops with some onion.
The flavor is a little sweet crystal malt with a big piney bitter finish. I do get some onion from the summit. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and is slightly watery.
Overall, Iíve had this a few times and the summit hops can be a bit hit or miss. They can be a bit onioney at times. If not, this is really nice. Reminds me of Gubna - maybe a little more reserved other than alcohol.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy golden orange from the can with thin lacy white head that sticks lightly. Aroma is sweet citrus up front, odd boozy caramel malt middle, then it falls off instantly. Taste is sweet, citrusy, booze is more hidden but again falls off quick. No real finish except a late burn in your stomach. Too much but at the same time not enough going on, not too great.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing.
Body is dark yellow.
Aroma is lightly malty (grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a very strong note of butter, other note of sulfur / struck match, light note of pineapple.
Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Full body, syrupy/velvety texture, soft carbonation, moderately to heavily alcoholic.
Dear Renegade, you have a diacetyl problem. A very severe one. I have tried both Ryeteous and now Elevation from cans, and both are loaded with butter odor. While I could smell other things in Ryeteous, Elevation smells like almost NOTHING but butter. If you cannot smell diacetyl in either of these beers, you really, really, really need to hire someone on your team that can. Dear RateBeer users, if you need a beer to use as a VERY clear test for diacetyl flaw, buy a can of this.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can thanks to a trade! Pours a clear gold with a touch of orange and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wet grass with some earthy grains but not overly hoppy. Flavor has a good amount of grass with a bit of resin and an earthy grain backing. Seemed to lack a bit of punch for a "triple IPA".

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can thanks to Doodler. Thanks for the canned goodness! Iíll give a proper rating from a can to a tulip though I thought this beer was rad while drinking from the can in the middle of nowhere camping. Pours a very light golden with big white head. Aroma is sweet and citrus plus stonefruit when it is just 5 minutes from the fridge. Very nice. Taste is nectarine skin, slight pear, some sweetness and light malt at the tail end. The hops are balanced and the bitterness isnít there. As the beer warms it falls apart. Naturally, more flavors come out that arenít as pleasant. Slight vegetable traits, some peas to be specific, come out. I enjoyed this much more from the can and then really cold. Not the best endorsement for the beer as I second guess myself.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dang. I usually love big IPA's, but I'm not a big fan of this one. Dunno what hops they used, but it smells like bong water. Also an unusual hop flavor - almost like liverwurst.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden color. Little white head, went away pretty quick. Doesnít surprise me that much. 11.2% Aroma is carmel, tropical fruits, strong hop presence. Taste is medium body, good punch of hop bitterness right up front to middle of the tongue. The sweetness and carmel rounds off the taste really nice! The finish is very pleasant. Overall really good! The 11.2 is hidden really well and because of the balance of aromas to flavors I recommend it. Cheers!
