This thing is dank. I don't use the word dank, either. Renegade is by W 6th, which is dispensary central. Very fitting. I love G'Knight, this is like it on steroids.

12 ounce can received in a trade with wchesser. Hazed golden copper with a nice gold tinted head. A nice, citrus aroma. Citrus defines the flavor. It manages to not be grapefruit and to not have big bitterness. Oranges and lemon. Caramel is much lighter but works here. Alcohol was not tasted but was immediately felt. Good stuff!

Pours orange with some white head. Citrus nose, orange, chive, lime. Chewy malt flavor, honey, scallion, oranges. Zesty finish. Struck me as a little odd.

From a 12 oz can into a tulip glass, with a slight chill haze, it’s bright amber orange with a moderate amount of sticky cream-orange colored foam. Loads of caramel and juicy citrus in the nose. It’s dense, approaching syrupy, bready, and sweet, with hops riding high above with nice grapefruit, citrus rind essence. With 11.2% alcohol, I have to say it’s not that warm or that sweet. Big beer in a little can. I like it.

Overall, a nice IPA but doesn’t get overly hopped with it being triple hopped.
