3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewery: Pours near black with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malts and a slew of spice. Really, this is one of the most spiced beers I have ever had. Yet, the spice balanced pretty well with the roasted malts and chocolatey flavors. Pretty nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Renegade Rusty Radiator 8/18/12 notes: Draft, brewery. A Winter spiced ale cellared for 6 months, and the harmony of flavors has indeed rewarded the effort. Aromas of prune, allspice, and clove are apparent, atop a beer colored dark brown with “ruby purple” undertones. Flavor is sweet, but deliciously so, with dried dark pit fruit slow dancing with vanilla and baking spices. A sweet sipper, slowly.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. This one is labeled as Rusty Radiator, supposedly it is radiator just aged for 6 months. Pour is deep, opaque brown with one-finger tan head. Aroma is just like Christmas, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread, potpourri, cherry, and clove. Taste is much the same, cinnamon, spice and everything nice; nutmeg, pumpkin pie, and cherry with a slight alcoholic burn on the finish. Creamy mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Kind of weird in the summer, but would probably be pretty good in the wintertime.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Renegade. Dark brown/black appearance with a small tan head. Aromas of anise, chocolate, vanilla, mild espresso, and molasses. Radiator had a chewy, anise, chocolate flavor that was fairly enjoyable with some notes of vanilla and dark fruits.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Kinda black with a small off-white head. Nice wintery aroma with dark fruits, cinnamon, and a touch of rum-y vanilla. Smooth rich full flavor! I get some dark sugary malts, raisin/plum, cherry, some cocoa, cinnamon, and a touch of vanilla extract. Quite sweet with only a whisper of bitterness at the start and finish.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very interesting description, pour on tap at the brewery is dark brownish red with creamy off white head, aroma brings notes of molasses/brown sugar up front, spicy clove and cinnamon notes, hints of earth and grass notes, touch of sweet fruit notes as well. Taste is a bit sweet with spice in there as well. Orange peel comes in with the cinnamon, clove and nutmeg, touch of sweet molasses, finishes fairly dry but a bit sweet. Interesting, the 9% is also hidden fairly well.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is black, with a soapy, lasting, off-white lace - nose is a bit tannic at first, but some moderately sweet vanilla and raisin arrive late, as well as some tamarind, all spice and vanilla - low carbonation, medium body - crazy drinkable for the abv, so a bit dangerous in that respect - fairly sweet, with date and tamarind fairly prominent - some vanilla, all spice and possible cardamom - finish adds a bit of nearly oaky, semi-tart, tannic character to cut the sweetness - very tasty brew.
