Rye IPAs are becoming a can't miss category for me. This is a good example. A tad sticky and malty in the finish, but it goes good with the hops.

On tap @ Renegade Publik House. Pours a hazed golden orange color with a white head. Lemony hops, some grass, and a bit of bread. Fairly citric hop aromas. A bit earthy, too. Flavors of lemon peel, orange zest, and grass. Bitter, earthy hops, some grain sweetness, and bread. A hint of caramel as it warms.

Golden copper...small lingering bubbles lacing my chalice. Aroma of wheat, grass, rye. Flavors of a nice IPA with rye briteness, with touches of white pepper, pine, rosemary, sage, alcohol, and a hop and rye bitterness. Thereís also a sweetness like a peppermint candy with a touch of bitterness. Significant carbonation and body. Iíll admit Iíve bought perhaps 10 growlers of this brew, and itís not the closest brewery to me in the Denver area. I used to go a few blocks away to Breckenridge for their 471 double IPA, and I still like it, but thereís something about this brew, the spice-hop-rye balance that has body, strength, and tastiness. Very satisfying in the growler or at the brewery. Iíve not tries the cans yet.

Big resinous piney hops. Rye bite, but not much other malt. Light mouthfeel adds to drink ability.

On tap at the Renegade tap room, poured a slightly hazy golden hue w/ average white head to a thin lasting cap and excellent lacing. Initial flavor is light sweet with a bold bitter finish of moderate duration. Tastes are citrus, caramel, herbal, apricots, rye, and a piney finish. Medium bodied, dry mouthfeel, and average carbonation.

Small, white head with good retention and an even better, lasting, sticky lace. Murky, gold colored brew. Gots a juicy, resiny citrus nose with notes of pine and some crystal malts. Body is medium with a nice carbo level. nicely oily, resiny, juicy. Sticky, citrusy hop flavors, grapefruit and tangerine with some woody, cedary notes and just a splash of lightly sweet malts. The rye is hard to find, at least for me but no matter as this is a juicy lil IPA. Nice, round finish that lasts. Nice brew! My first Renegade beer and its a nice one. Thanks for the cans, stumpy!
