Notes from Denver trip: At Sputino on 32nd. Light gold pour, nice white head, good lace. Nose is rye and citrus. Bitter. Middle is rye malt backbone, biscuit creeping in on the side, balanced hop bitterness. Finish is beautifully bittersweet duel between hops and malt.

Can@ elev5545. Clear amber color with ivory foam. Nice tropical fruit, citrus, pine, sweet malt aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Toasty, grainy rye bread base brew with citrusy, spicy hoppage----drying finish____good.

Poured a pale golden yellow color with aromas of malt and light rye with some light hops. Flavors are malt and grain with light rye very little hops not hoppy for an ipa more malt and grain but decent.

Can. A- Rye, floral, slight caramel, spices. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Rye, piney, caramel, spices, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- Certainly heavy on the rye. And I think that helps it quite a bit. Also a lot of bitterness and floral spice and an otherwise average IPA.

Can; poured a clear gold amber color with a frothy white head. Aroma of citrus/orange, rye spiciness and some earth. Flavor had a similar flavor profile. Seemed to get tastier throughout the can.

From a 16 oz can. Pours a hazed golden orange color with a white head and heavy lacing. Earthy, malty aroma. Flavors of lemon peel, orange zest, and grass. The finish is bitter, earthy hops with a hint of caramel as it warms. A decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A decent rye IPA, though weak on the rye as far as I’m concerned. It could use a little spicier definition. Amber with a crisp finish.

A clear, bright, sunset amber body displays a few streamers beneath a frothy smooth white head falling slowly to create dense, rhythmic, frothy lace all around

Bright aromas and flavors of peach, citrus, green melon, and a touch of dankness accented by rye spice with a shade of umami flowing through and growing with warmth on a smooth, lightly carbonated medium body offering soft creaminess, light tact, and a balanced residual of clean fruity-nutty sweetness against drying bitter citrus

I’m a little surprised by the lower ratings, I enjoyed the well formed, clean, focused profiles with the high ibu coming across in a very juicy, approachable manor

An eminently mediocre IPA. Aroma was almost non-existent and the taste was a mixture of clashing elements. I was given a four-pack by a friend. We each drank a can. I later tried another one, and will toss the last one.
