3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 j12601 (5609) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - NOV 24, 2012
On tap at Reservoir. Pours a clear gold with a medium to large white head. Big spicy skunky grains. Sweet and grainy, medium bodied, slightly skunky grains again, musky and full of cheap cereal. Not bad overall and probably the sort of thing one might require to quench the thirst of mowing a mighty lawn, but not what I want to eat on a regular basis.

Nice, crisp base malt and noble hops: fresh hay and lotus root. Crystal clear straw under a thin, white cover riddled with large bubbles. Crisp, biscuity base malt flavour in perfect balance with herbal, noble hops. A touch of kettle caramelization would make the flavour perfect. Light body, medium carbonation, crisp and clean finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light cornish. Bitter and grassy. Light cornish and grassy flavoured. Bitter and dry. Mild grassy and crisp hoppy into the finish. Ends dry and bitter.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 SlovakSniper (2115) - Candiac, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 25, 2011

Draught at the brewpub. Weak malty aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty, turning citric and a little watery. Surprisingly clean.

Une pinte sur place, la blonde de base, petit défaut en bouche avec du soufre, manque de caractère et de définition, on dirait qu’il n’ont pas fait le dyacetil rest...pas ma meilleure.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lefossoyeur (367) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2009
Clear blonde with a small white head. Faint aromas of noble hops and some sulfur. Thin body, light, with a slight malt presence and something mineral from the water. On a sunny afternoon it might goes down pretty easy without even noticing you are drinking a booze. But on a cold and windy december night, I would have loved a little more body and hops in there. Still, nicely done.

Pale straw colour. Light chill-hazed appearance. Aroma is lightly floral and a little bit zesty. There is a bit of light straw and some faint grassiness. Low bitterness with just a touch of pale pilsner malt. Nice, if simple brew.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 TaktikMTL (4799) - Montréal-Nord, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 22, 2008
(Rating #1965)

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2008 My Bottom Line:
Straightforward cereal flavors tickle the subtle Saazy hoppiness in this lightly watery and chiefly forgettable unfiltered Pilsener.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A thin veil of foam quickly disappears atop the misty whitish gold.
-Feeble hop bitterness is overshadowed by the cereal return.
-The Saaz nose is a tad cheesy; doesn’t smell all that fresh or bright.
-The mouthfeel is relaxed, lean and softly carbonated.
-This doesn’t taste like any Bohemian Pils or any German Pils I’ve had. Not sure what they were aiming for really.
On tap at the brewpub.
