On tap @ BQ Navigli.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, straw, malt, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, metal, and straw, leading to a dry finish.

In bottiglia da 33cl. COlore marrone scuro, schiuma fine e beige.

33cl bottle in teku. Pours a large brown rocky and frothy head; deep black colour. Smells dark fruits, cane sugar, belgian yeastyness, vanilla, milky. Tastes dark chocolate, malty, toasted/roasted, fruity and slighlty licoricy; the initial almost medium sweetness is well balanced by a fairly bitter toasted finish. Full bodied, soft to average carbonation, discrete drinkability. Very "stouty", especially on the tongue, for being a belgian ale. That’s a nice example for such a complex and traditional style!
