3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Mother Kellys, Bethnal Green, London Saturday 4th April 2015 Quite dark in colour, nut brown with a slight filmy head. A fairly ordinary IPA, nothing out of the ordinary but fine. A rough hoppiness to it, a little medicinal, ok. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
18th March 2015
Very hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and a little crisp. Malts are thin and have a light streak of milky sweetness. Dark orange and fairly strong crystallised fruit orange and a touch of marmalade. Touches of hop spice and pine. Finishes light and crispy. A curious IPA but quite drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cagliari 2/8 2014. Purchased in Birra e Dintorni in Cagliari. Dark orange color with a persistent head. Fruity aroma. American inspired hoppy taste with a long pleasant bitter aftertaste. My best Italian beer yet (not saying much in Peroni country).

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, 75cl. A big, dense, off-white head leaves lacings. Hazy, reddish dark golden body. The aroma is lighlty hoppy, with vegetables, some grass and a touch of strawberry. Resin hints and some candy. It’s quite bitter on the palate, in a herbal way, not in a hoppy way. Medium body, very soft carbonation. Some pale malts and candy in the flavor, with citrus and herbs. Lasting finish. Not very interesting this one, certainly not showcasing IPA in a good way. 141231

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Backlog rating. Keg at FOB, Rimini. It pours a cloudy orange colour with a big white head. Aroma is mostly hoppy, but more spicy than the average IPA. Taste reflect the aroma: hoppy bitterness with lots of spices. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, nice IPA

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl Teku. Pours a off white medium and frothy head, very dark orange to dark brown colour. Smells orange zest, citrusy, floral, nice. Tastes pink grapefruit, orange, nice maltiness, not that much punchy like many in the style. Initial discretely long fruity sweetness, turn into not more than medium bitterness, would say less that the declared 75 IBUs (yes, it’s fresh). Carbonation is quite soft, the body is light to medium, nice sily/soft texture. Maybe not outrageously awesome, but has a great hops/malts balance and has high Drinkability, which for me with this kind of beers is one of the most important matters.
