Tap @ Reuben’s... Poured hazy golden with a white head. Nose had some dankier hops going on. A bit astringent with some diacetyl. Not very clean and overly bitter. Some bready malt tones but they were subdued. Lots of bittering hops going on but not much flavor and floral or aramatic hops going on. Seemed rushed and unfocused.

Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head. Super IPA flavors and finish. This was a super beer with a terrific taste. Big huge hops I am a fan.

Pours bronze and a decent froth settles on top. Passionfruit nose with a touch of cat urine, makes me think Simcoe? Juicy passionfruity, and with a cattiness throughout, but not conspicuous enough to seriously detract. Alcohol hop hair at the end.

Pours a light golden color with a little cloudiness and very little head. Smell is of pine, fruity and floral. Taste is much the same with a nice malt balance as well. This is a very drinkable Imperial IPA at 9.4%. Dangerously so. I like it a lot. Dare I say it’s close to Pliny? I think so.

On tap at Reuben’s brews, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of piney, soapy and floral hops, flower pedals, and some biscuit malts. Intensely flavourful, full of piney hops, pine needles, some resinous and caramel malts. Extremely full-bodied, yet so easily drinkable. A bit of booze detectable, but still easy to drink. Awesome stuff.

Draft at sb. Clear medium pour with a loose whitish head. Dense piney dark nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Toasty harsh pine mid palate with not much else happening. Longish resiny mid palate. Needs some flavor and aromatic counterpoint to balance the pine.

Nose is fruity, kind of tropical, a little passion fruit, floral notes, biscuit, toast, and a little dough. Pours golden amber, nice head. Flavors of passion fruit, toast, a little citrus and dank, biscuit, and a touch of dough. Dry finish. Decent bitterness. Very well balanced and drinkable at 9.4%.
