At the brewery. Very good aroma and head. Delicious, and I like bitter beers, but even so the bitterness was a bit over the top.

(Tap) Nice aroma and pretty good flavor but a bit too bitter for my taste. There are better imperial IPAs.

On tap at Devils Craft. Pours a slightly hazy golden with an off-white head and lacings. Quite sweet with lots of malt and some hops aromas. The hops evolves as the beer ages in the glass. Some spruce and hints of black pepper. Tiny hints of alcohol. Medium to full bodied. Medium carbonation.

Tap at Devil Craft. Nice, lots of fruit, high bitterness. Booze is very well hidden. Smells a touch funky. Good stuff.

Poured golden yellow, maybe it looks a bit thicker compared with lighter beers but still very normal looking. Aroma is full of hoppy resins - of course. This beer is very dry while still loaded with some subtle citrusy fruit character and piney hops. West Coast IPA as I imagine is taken to another level where lush fruitiness has dripped off a bit and the void is filled with hops and their resins. Alcohol content is dangerously well hidden, there would be no way I can tell itís 9,4% if it wasnít written on the label. Great beer, would have it again and again.

Prufrockstar (1146) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 11, 2014
Pours clear pale, almost amber. Aroma: dank, piney, some underlying caramel and toast. Moderately sweet, assertive bitter finish, caramel and full body; dank. Plenty of citrus in there, too. Slick, almost syrupy texture.

On tap at the brewery. Clear copper pour with a white head. Citrus and grapefruit hop aromas. Taste follows suit. Nice balance with a sturdy malt backbone. Good mouthfeel and body.

Draught at the brewery, 2 samples, co2 and nitro
Golden color, with compact head; the co2 version is clean, the nitro is cloudy. Strong aroma, hoppy, piney, animal. Good body strength; moderately sweet; malt flavor, then the strong hoping, which has a strong animal character, hop resins, piney, and just moderate fruits.
The nitro version has obviously less aroma, itís smoother, a bit cloying, but still acceptable.
With such strong animal character, itís a rather difficult beer to drink, I wouldnít have too much of it.

This is a fine beer, always good - definitely top-class for even at demanding local standards for IPAs.

Gentle malt flavors of caramel, bread and toffee coalesce wonderfully with snappy, citrusy and piney hops that leave behind a clean bitterness. Well balanced and well made.
