4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a light golden color with a little cloudiness and very little head. Smell is of pine, fruity and floral. Taste is much the same with a nice malt balance as well. This is a very drinkable Imperial IPA at 9.4%. Dangerously so.
I like it a lot. Dare I say itís close to Pliny? I think so.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Gentle malt flavors of caramel, bread and toffee coalesce wonderfully with snappy, citrusy and piney hops that leave behind a clean bitterness. Well balanced and well made.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Of the three imperial ipaís on tap at the brewery this was my favorite. Most xharacteristic double ipa. Big citrus hops and moderate caramel malt balance. Perfect example of a PNW IIPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Dark dirty straw, thin to moderate frothy white head, little lacing.   Soft pithy and citrus peel nose.   Sweet and candied citrus peel on the tongue.   Smooth citrys bitterness on the tongue.   Doesnít seem all that IIPA like, maybe more than an IPA, maybe 1ĺ IPA.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Clean, citrusy, hoppy without being too bitter.   Solid beer, but just a little shy of IIPA me thinks.   Still great!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Pours a pretty husky orange with a small white head. I think I let this one get too cold, so the aroma is a little muted, but I do pick up some citrus and pine. Taste is hugely bitter, over the top aspirin bitterness with a wallop of sticky sweet resin to back it up. Finishes hugely sweet and bitter. Like liquid aspirin mixed with pine tar. Not my up of tea.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Reubenís brewpub in Ballard. Radiating, deep orange. Good creamy citrus fruit, funky, good rich finish. Very coating. Pine hop bom, grows in richness. Really snuck up on me, impressing more as you drink the pint. Great.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewery. Cloudy orange. Sticky, resiny citrus. Mandarin, mostly. Caramel, and some tropical fruit. Really nice balance for a big beer. Lots of flavor. Like this one quite a bit!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear amber color with a thin ivory head. Nice spicy, floral pine hop aromas. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pine, floral, spicy, fruity hop flavors with a solid pale malt base___nicely bitter, drying twang to finish---good

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - Very sweet with hints of tropical fruit and mandarin. Clear gold with a thin head. Intense mandarin and bitterness. Big bold flavours, maybe a bit too much.

Copper color, tons of passionfruit, caramel full body and full on and just bloody intense.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light but forward hop nose. Clear amber colour with thin foam that vanishes quickly. Harsh pine and resin in the initial taste. Malt makes an appearance later, but still dominated by the hop. Bitter lingers long with pine finish. Should do well with hopheads, but lacks balance for me.
