3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Though classified as IPA has a strong Brown malt profile--roast malt, sawdust, rye and caramel.. Aromas of coffee, brown sugar and plywood. The bitterness melds well with the darker malts. Just that Iím not a big brown/porter fan.

Really dark pour! Significant hops on the nose, not so forward in the flavor. Residual sugars, chocolate, earthy, peppery rye. Nice bitter finish. This oneís a bit less complex than others Iíve had from them. Still quite tasty, though.

Good Christmas tick.
Deep amber color, light brown head with some spotty lacing.
Nose is toast, spice and soft chocolate. Good spiced rye nose. Not a lot of the hops come out, more about the spice.
Taste is a lot of toasted rye and spice with soft notes of chocolate. The spice really shines in this with some backing pine and grapefruit peel.
Medium bodied and medium carbonation. Could pass for a Amber ale even more than an IPA

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle:   Deep amber, moderate foamy tannish head, nice lacing.   Soft toasted malt nose, a little biscuity, faint citrus peel.   Very toasty on the tongue, bready, malty, a touch nutty and biscuity, with a low hop profile.   Almost seems like a nutty Amber Ale versus a Rye IPA.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Bready finish, a little ESB like, with lingering citrus peel and pith.   Not much of a fan of this one as its not bright enough in the IPA department.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Pours dark amber / light brown. Clear with some off white head. Aroma is surprisingly roasty and chocolate, balanced by resinous hops. Taste: moderately dry, plenty of roasty/chocolate/grains up front (first half of each sip could almost be a porter) with a big piney bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture, lasting bitter finish. Overall: a nice and pretty unique brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Dark amber colored with an inch of tan head and bubbles. Aroma is a mix of earthy hops, citrus and toasted grain sweetness. The flavor blends herbal hops, citrus rind and caramel with a good amount of malt and rye spice in the background. The body is relatively smooth and creamy with a malty, peppered finish. Interesting Winter Warmer/IPA/Rye Beer blend.

4.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a brown with orange hues and a mocha colored dense head with minimal lacing. grassy citrus aromas. Excellant roasty, caramel, chocolate, citrus with some spice. Good mouthfeel and carbonation the bitterness helps tame the malt and starts to take over the more you drink wonderful beer.
