Pours deep burnt orange with quite a bit of tan head. Nose is spicy with some herbal citrus. Taste is charred bread, caramel, and a lot of pine, citrus, with a hint of nutmeg. This certainly drinks like an IPA. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Nicely drinkable.

bomber. seemed a little older than the others, chocolate malt juuust starting to get a little cardboady. But the rye part was done well enough to salvage it a little.

22oz bottle obtained through tavour. Reubenís Roasted Rye PA pours a hazy medium brown. Head is about a half inch of lighter tan medium to small bubbles. Nose is a spicy rye malt aroma with hints of herbal hops. Taste is typical rye with evident herbal hops. Body is lively and medium. A decent IPA, with good Rye taste and aroma.

A good Rye IPA. Pours a beautiful deep red with a thick tan head. Smells of pepper, fennel and cucumber. Taste is rye off the bat, followed by pepper and cucumber in the finish. Paired with seafood cannelloni, brings out rye spiciness. Had in the bottle.

Draft pour pint at Reubenís. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a lasting fizz head. Grainy, dark fruit aroma. Thick creamy body, heavy rye and spice. Rye finish. Not bad.

Draught. Pours a hazy dark brown color with a moderate tan head on there. Nose has a lot of rye to it, with some grassiness coming through to make it a moderately hoppy beer. Taste is very bitter, with a lot of earthiness making it have a nice bite to it.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at PCC. Aroma: light grain and malt. Appearance: average-sized, rocky, off-white initial head with good lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, dark-amber body. Taste: moderately bitter, roasty and chocolatey initial flavor and moderately sweet, roasty and chocolatey finish with long duration. Palate: medium bodied with watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall: excellent. Great flavor that you can taste until the last drop.

Draft - Citrus, pine and dark caramel. Cloudy brown with a decent light brown head. Caramel, citrus, pine and Chocolaty caramel. Very different with nice sweet dark caramel and light rye spice, without too much hop profile.

On tap @ Reubenís. Pours medium caramel brown with thin lacy off-white head. Aroma is medium roasty malt with a prominent sharp rye note hat lingers through the finish. Light earthy fresh hops on the back. Taste is similar, fully malty flavor and mouthfeel, plenty of rye although less than the nose, and more floral and citrus notes from the hops. The lightly roasted dark malts really jump out on the finish. Easy drinking and unique flavor profile.
