Nov. 2007 - Beautiful pour with fluffy type head and excellent lacing. Very faint aroma of smoke and burnt matches. Nice smokey malty flavor with some dusty chalk. I really liked this. Thanks to eaglefan538 for sharing.

Bottle. Deep dark brown in color with a little head. Hoppy caramel cinnamon aroma. Earthy notes. Hoppy flavor. Grassy earthy spicy notes. Malty chocolately notes. Medium bodied. Finish is sweet. Decent beer. Drinkable.

Pours a murky brown with super fluffy off white head. Aroma of cinnamon and light sweet bread. Flavor is nice for a brown, not so nutty but definitely a toasted malt flavor with some hops coming through. That faint hint of that same cinnamon. Medium body with a nice malty finish. Decent beer.

22 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors for $2.50 - Pours a clear brown color with a two finger thick light tan head. Nice lacing. Aroma is light caramel malt and esters. Flavor is lightly roasted malt, light esters, and earthy hops. Medium body. For the price, a good beer.

Poured a red brown color with a thin, light tan head that left light lacing. Aroma of caramel malts and citrus fruits. Taste of citrus, toffee, nuts, and caramel malts.

Pretty bad gusher. After the head subsided, I’m left with a short pour of a dark brown beer with a nicely lacing tan head. Aroma is quite sweet, with a lot of chocolate and carob, some walnut, soil, and alcohol. Flavor is somewhat musty, mildly sweet, and dominated by a dry, almond bitterness. Good beer, better cause.

Richmond "industry" gathering. Deep hazy amber. Gentle Earth and spice hop aroma. Flavor was lightly caramel and faint citrus. The first hints of infection were also making themselve known, but not yet at a point where it detracted. Almost made it into a Belgian brew. In a couple more months though, this bottle could have been a total disaster as opposed to pretty good.
