Veggies and celery in the flavor as well as some sweetness. Interesting balance with sweet alcohol and a little bitterness. Ok beer, good cause. I guess all proceeds go to breast cancer research. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 Bottle: Mahogany ruby color with light head and lacing. Nose of vegetal rye and caramel with some grape and light smoked fig. The rye notes are odd; as uaul to me but the earthy hops blend well. Seems a lot like Denny Conn’s Rye PA. Balanced and drinkable despite the moderate body. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nutty, fruity, piny esters. Caramel, gritty, hoppy, spicy grippiness. Sweet, malty, and for real. Some dryish crisp, dope and dank beer. Toffee, bomby, glorious. Way good!
