May 3, 2008 Updated: Oct 23, 2008Pours a transparent copper with a thin ring of off-white head. Aroma of toasty malts and carraway seed. Body starts lightly sweet and earthy hoppy with a mild spice balance and toasty rye. Finishes smooth and bittersweet. Very drinkable with good rye complexity.

May 3, 2008 Pours rusty brown/red with almost no head, with slight lacing. Slightly under carbonated with a sweet smells of malts and not much else. Tastes Malty with a hint of tobacco. It finishes sweet and stays surprisingly sweet.

aroma: mild.. dry pepper mealy malts hop bitter kinda blend. App: standard copper hootsie. Flavor: kinda nice.. dry mealy refreshing normal nothing exciting. Palate: fine OA: good beer, nothing special.

May 2, 2008 Bottle at Dilly Deli. Pours clear reddish/copper with a moderate frothy off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Medium roasted sweet malty and citrus aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of short duration. My expectations where not met.

May 2, 2008 Poured a clear, red amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, rye, citrus, toast, floral hops, and light fruit. Taste of more rye, toasted malts, some caramel, and citrus fruits, with a medium bitterness in the finish.

May 1, 2008 Thanks to Josh for this one. Pours a translucent ruby amber with a medium creamy/bubbly off white head. Aroma of a fresh cut pumpkin (I know it’s odd but that is the first thing I smelled), floral notes, citrus, a bit of rye and mixed fruits...maybe some cherry. Flavor of rye, a bit earthy, some caramel, fruity notes, malty sweetness, nuts and a touch of orange.
