Bottle shared by the group (maybe Chris). Pours a clear dark brown color with a small to medium sized creamy beige head. The aroma is cocoa, light fruity notes, cinnamon and light spices with some lactose like sweetness. The flavor is cocoa, cinnamon, vanilla, light fruits and moderate sweetness. Decent, nothing stands out.

Brown with a tan head. The aroma is full of chocolate, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon. The flavor is more of the same. I get a ton of cinnamon notes up front, with some nice cocoa and vanilla notes filling in the gaps. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Bottle from holiday 8 pack. Not sure why this is listed as spice herb vegetable. Pours deep mahogany, with sweet nose of baked goods. Tastes of caramel, cocoa, roasted malts, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, and wood. Creamy mouthfeel

~pours a brownish amber color with quickly disappearing light brown head.
~Strong cinnamon bread flavor with caramel and light roastiness.
~Medium bodied with medium CO2, Lingering sweet cinnamon finish.
~The sweet and spice are a bit cloying on this. Would only want to have one of these at the most.

Bottle: The aroma consists of chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, and faint roasted nuts. It pours a dark brown with some faint orange highlights and a small beige head that quickly fades to a thin film. There?s a good amount of soapy webbing on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with a good dose of dark chocolate and tootsie rolls. The finish has light-moderate vanilla with a touch of cinnamon and roasted nuts. It?s medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 gramity (1055) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 30, 2012
Deep ruby red, brown, the head big and frothy like an ice cream float. The aroma is big and chewy ... rife with caramel, malt balls, cocoa. The beer drinks with a chocolate milk character up front, a bit thinner than that but otherwise good
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 timfoolery (885) - California, USA - DEC 27, 2012
Bottle from Scott on Xmas. Aroma and flavors of the cinnamon and cocoa nibs with a smooth palate following a carbonated opening. Pretty drinkable offering here and enjoyable in the winter time...almost like a winter ale without the allspice and nutmeg. Very good beer.
