3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
10/18/13 $11.95 bomber bought from CBO.
Poured reddish brown. Nice lacing throughout drinking it.
Everything listed on the bottle was in the aroma: coffee, chocolate a sweet cinnamon (candied). This was a strong coffee and choc bomb but no cinnamon in the taste. Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Mmm, this is one tasty "strong ale." I’d describe this more as an interesting porter or even sweet stout though. The pour is a deep maroon w/ a thin tan head that’s leaves lacing. The aroma is a delightful blend of vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon, & coffee. The taste pulls all of these flavors together quite nicely as this is a highly drinkable beer & certainly not your typical strong ale. Quite robust! Nicely done!

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Great strong ale that didn’t kick you in the face but was pleasant. The blend of dessert flavors mixed with the booze gave it an elegant and milky texture.

Very impressed with Terripans 2013. Very smooth and the combination of chocolate, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon is amazing. I would recommend this beer to all of my friends.

500ml shared at Travlrs. Filtered brown-amber. Thin oily head. Nice balance between all the sweetness. Smooth on the palate. The cinnamon and coffee, vanilla are really nice. Pleasant, well-attenuated beer. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Pours opaque brown with a medium, bubbly beige head, medium-short retention with good lacing. Aroma is chocolate, nutty and toast malt with cinnamon, vanilla and dates and no hop aroma. Flavor is sweet chocolate malt, light toast and nutty notes, faint chocolate, light earthy hops and light bitterness, dark fruits with cinnamon, vanilla and a sweet finish. Full body and medium carbonation.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle, pours dark reddish brown with a small head and lots of lacing. Very malty, sweet nose. Attack is bread yeast, sugars, a bit of bitter bite on the side of the tongue. A long lingering finish. Good middle of the pack beer.

Very disappointed in this one. The description had me giddy. Vanilla, cinnamon, cocoa nibs! Yet I tasted none of these flavors. Even so this was a very bland tasting beer. Maybe next year will be better.

Bottle from wegmans. Pours brown with a large brown head that has decent retention. The aroma has big cinnamon, vanilla, and a bit of coffee. The taste has a nice cocoa, light vanilla, and the cinnamon comes in the finish . Really nice brew.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampled on draft at Hou Thou this beer poured a dark brown color with a huge creamy beige head that lingered and left exceptional lacing. The aroma was Doctor Pepper. The flavor was Doctor Pepper, malted milk, chocolate, fig and toffee. Long finish of Doctor Pepper and malted milk. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing.
