3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 bhensonb (9004) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 24, 2007
Bottle; L7150 (whatever that imparts). Rich caramel aroma, backed by coffee and chocolate. Deep mahogany color topped with a beige head that is respectable. Full bodied, with creamy carbonation. The flavor is caramel, with something wet paperish/earthy - not a bad thing - works well. Persistence brings up some chocolate. The finish is more dry than sweet, and there are dark notes - like a mix of chocolate, coffee and something I can’t put my tongue on - could be nuttiness. Very drinkable.
