Reutberger Helles Bock has a thick, white, creamy head, a mostly clear, deep, bright gold, bubbly appearance, and substantial lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of slightly melon, full, malty, breadiness, while the flavor is of rich, bold, extremely malty, sourdough bread, with subdued, yet, not totally hidden grassy hops. Mouthfeel is medium to heavy, and Reutberger Helles Bock finishes refreshing, crisp, and a bit dirty. RJT

Flasche (als „Reutberger Weihnachts Bock“, 50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Sattes Goldgelb, blank.

Deep gold with a thick, stable white head. Sweet munich malt aroma. Rich, honey-sweet flavor with enough hops to keep it from being overly sugary. A wonderful Helles Bock.

500 ml bottle from "Lifesource" Salem. $3.99 Clear golden beer with a large tight, bubbled white head. Honey, cereal, caramel type aromas..all quite pleasant Very cereal ,cream of corn taste, slight hops show, slight tinge of alcohol in the end. I actually enjoyed the smooth creamy mouthfeel on this one. Going to go slightly against the grain and say i enjoyed this..very smooth

This one bottled as "Reutberger Weihnachts Bock", by 11.12. White grape juice and light honey in the nose, solid golden body with a white, soapy head. Taste is sharp, some acidity and dust with strong booze and honeyish malt, big intensity made me gag a bit on first sip. Full-body.
