Bottle. Clear medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, bread, alcohol - peppery. Flavor is moderate to heavy light sweet with a average to long duration, and a peppery burn finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. (190408)

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and some metal. The flavor is sweet and quite metallic from the alcohol, combined with notes of nuts, caramel, and alcohol, as well as light notes of bread, leading to a dry metallic and alcoholic finish.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe/Ungstrup. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Toasted deep breadish malt aroma with a mild hops acidity. Flavour is sweet malty, breadish and mild fruity note. Medium smooth mouthfeel. Sweet and mild hoppy finish. Nice one.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear amber golden with a firm, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt and pumpernickel. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base with plenty of roasted malt and pumpernickel. Lightly bitter finish. Very classic and well made Bock. 090209

Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Deep golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is malts, bread and some alcohol. Flavour is is alcohol, sweet malts, some bread, and somem grass.

Bottle @ Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Fruit, grain, dough and alcohol. Sweet and grainy with a touch of DMS. Full bodied.

Bottle at a Papsø tasting 09-Feb-2009 - Thanks to one of the guys. Clear amber- white head. Sweetness, caramel, raisins, ryebread, light hoppy, candy, yeasty, metallic, alcoholic, white bread, light nutty. OK.

Bottle at Chris_O bottlefest 2007. Amber with beige head. I have nothing to say about this beer. It’s got some syrupy alcohol. Dull.
