Bottle from Burg Bieren Bierwinkel, Ermelo, Netherlands consumed at home Sunday 21st October 2012 Pours hazy gold with some yeasty looking particles in suspension. Some spice and yeastiness on the nose. Soft in the mouth, warming, vanilla, orange and a spiciness but it isn’t that hoppy, I like it but not really what I would describe as an IPA, bitterness and hoppiness are quite muted for the style. Sampled from bottle @ Cafe Buitenlust, Oirschot. Decent beer, but not really an IPA at least not what I expected. Aroma has some hops but the taste is not as good.

330ml bottle. Appearance:hazy golden with an average, frothy, 3 fingers off white head, Retention is ok and the lacing is decent. Aroma: Biscuit and oranges with some butterscotch Taste: Biscuit notes, Maraschino & citrus (Dutch chipolata pudding), Light piney, and alcohol peaks through. coockie dough and celery aftertaste. Soft carbonation, medium body A bit too much biscuit notes for a IPA, but still a good beer.

Cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of malts, yeast, spices, slight caramel, fruits and hops. Flavour is yeasty, spicy and hoppy, with a nice long bitter aftertaste. Somewhere between a Tripel and a Belgian-style IPA. Either way, I definitely enjoyed this one.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Piney hoppy aroma with a herbal touch, caramel malty background. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, a touch of nut biscuit, minimally dry, piney and herbal hoppy overtones. OK.

An unclear orange coloured beer with a firm white head. A citrus hop aroma. A nice bitter taste some sweetness but not much. A good mouthfeel. A beer the way I like them. A lot of information on the label, even Plato, EBU and EBC are on it.

Bottle from trade with Countbeer, many thanks.Hazy dark orange color with medium white head. Aroma of tangerines, grapefruit, grapefruit zest, pines, wood, honey. Taste, citrus fruits, aromatic hops. Hoppy bitter finish. I missed malt in taste, but overall this was pretty easy drinkable beer.

330 ml bottle at home, poured into a tulip glass. ABV 8.5% Slighty hazy orange colour on the body, with some bits and pieces floating around it. Two fingers of wite head, with good retention and heavy lacing left around the glass. Fruity aroma, with pineapple, some cookie dough too. Taste is a nice combination of sweet maltiness and a hoppy bitterness, again very fruity with the cookie dough being quite notable on the finish, but faing quickly and giving its place to the bitter aftertaste. Good duration. Medium body, good carbonation, with a soft bite on the tongue. Big dryness on the palate after a while. Overall tasty beer, nice thirst quencher.
