Bottled. A very dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, and bread, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle at home in London, picked up in Amsterdam. Pours clear brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Rich, dark bready malts in the nose, Belgian candi sugar, light roast, some alcohol. Medium to big sweet flavor, earthy bitterness, some dusty cocoa, bit of booze, rich bread. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, sturdy roast, charred toast, dark sugars, dry bread, some dark fruits. The alcohol is perhaps a touch too pronounced at times, but it’s nice in general.

Poured a dark brown with a frothy tan head, Aroma of dark chocolate and roast malt with an alcohol undertone. Medium, smooth body, flavour is sweet malt and dark chocolate and raisins, mildly sweet aftertaste. Doesn’t really taste the strength.

Thanks to bierkoning for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep black, nice head. Starts strong-malty, modest roasty with woody notes. Mild-fruity like raisins. Well balanced finish. Almost mild for an Imperial Stout. Nice!

Dark brown, light brown head. Aroma is not impressive, some malts and chocolate. Taste is better, with coffee, chocolate and roasted malts, but all rather mild. Ok body and carbonation. Ok, but average imperial stout.
