3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Low bubbely off-blond head. Hazed orangey-golden body. Fresh hoppy nose, pine and orange marmelade. Also a whiff of semi-sweet light toasted malts. Medium full, slick in the mouth. Profound bitterness, flavored by evergreen, pine cones, grass and and some fine tangerine/orange tones. Well balanced semi-dry, generic malt flavor. Finishes with a lasting lingering bitterness. Good stuff. [Small bottle from Vinmonopolet]

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Rune. Gyldenbrun. OK tett skum som varer en stund. Bra lacing. God fersken/plommearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er syrlig frukt med en enda syrligere ettersmak. Tørr avslutning. Litt uklar i siste kvelling.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to Gunnfryd for sharing a 330ml bottle at Førtito. White bubbly layer leaving dotted spots on the glass. Orange coloured body, slightly cloudy. Sharp hoppy aroma, pumpkin impression. Mingled flavours of dried fruits, pine and caramel malts. Bittersweet ending. Quite heavy to drink (Sarpsborg, Tour de Østfold, RBNG-event 15.02.2014).

33 cl bottle. Sell by 2018.
Pours hazy orange color with a small head. Aroma of sweet exotic fruits, resinous hops, caramel and some glue notes. Flavor of sweet fruits, caramel malts, resinous hops, hay and pine notes. Sweet fruity palate. Decent but the glue-like alcohol disturbs a bit.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, at 42. An unclear dark golden beer with a small beige head. The aroma has lots of citrusy, piney hop pellets, with some malty caramel in the back. Pleasant bitterness in the flavor, with caramel malts and hop pellets. Pine cones and citrus peel. A bit too sweet perhaps. Full body with a nice carbonation level. Lasting bitter finish. Pretty nice this one, although a bit sweet. Nice. 140215

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a very cloudy straw yellow-orange with lots of sediment. Looks a bit dull. Lively carbonation, white head and a little bit of lacing. Smells of peach, sugary candy with faint grassy hop in the background. Taste is fruity for a second before it turns into a dry, bitter, lasting finish. Palate is medium with some oil and carbonation. Better than the Lord Simcoe IPA by the same brewery, but something about it tastes unpolished, like an ambitious homebrew that is nonetheless very rough round the edges. Not bad but grading on a curve because it's hard not to expect a bit more from a DIPA.
