Bottle. Pours a very dark brown beer with a small creamy beige head on top. Aroma of coffee and caramel, touches of vanilla. Flavor is moderately bitter, some sweet touches of caramel in the back. Coffee tones as well. Very nice beer, dry finish.

Bottle shared by MrHangover. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smell and taste malts, dark malts, quite bitter for a sweet stout, or perhaps the beer is just too cold. Anyway, not a really good one imo. Don’t like it anyway.

Bottle, 4.5%. Roasted aroma, faintly sourish. Black colour. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour starts off with a quite astringent bitterness, not that pleasant. Then comes a nice fruity note with a good coffee thing going. Quite flavourful for the ABV. Smooth mouthfeel.

Bottle. Pours cloudy nearly black with airy but stable light tan head. Clear aroma of dried fruit, malt and caramel. Sweetish flavour of malt, with vinous and fruity notes and roasty touches. Bitter finish with notes of roasted coffee. Interesting and decent.

330 ml bottle from BG Birra, served in a nonic half pint glass. Gusher. Dark brown, but looks pitch black in the glass, with a huge, creamy, forever lasting beige head. Quite muted aroma, notes of cinnamon, milk chocolate, roasted malts, coffee beans and wet cardboard. Slightly sour upfront, astringent, then bourboun like warming, light chocolate taste. Way overcarbonated and fizzy, lacks a proper body, quite harsh drinkability. Almost watery, slightly oily texture. Clearly not as intended.

Najprawdopodobniej z moim coś nie tak jest, czuć czekoladę na początku ale później przebija się wyraźna nuta kwaśnych owoców. Takie winno alkoholowe aromaty. Ale nawet bez nich byłoby mu daleko do Sweet Cow

330 ml bottle. Black body with a small beige head. Aroma has dark malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, dominated by chocolate but also some coffee and balanced bitterness. Full bodied and a good aftertaste with even more sweet chocolate. Lots of flavor and impressive balance for this relatively low ABV.

Bottle, bought @ YNWA Beershop, Kolding. Pours opaque black with a small, staying, creamy beige head. Aroma has roasted malts, chocolate, plums and raisins. Light coffee. Vanilla and milky sweetness. Low carbonation, fairly light but very dry mouthfeel. Flavour has soft lactose, roasted malts, light coffee, soft astringency. Lingering malty bitterness.

Bottle. It pours a next to black body and a small, beige head. The aroma has coffee, roasted malts and milk chocolate, all appropriate for a sweet stout, but still a bit boring. The same could be said of the rather sweet flavor. Some bitterness is kicking in towards the finish, but it doesn’t prevent it from feeling too one tracked. Medium body and a nice carbonation level. Anyway, it’s a nice beer, althouth a tad too sweet and boring. 140207
