COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Take My AdWeisse in not a wiesse, it’s a hoppy american wheat. Surely hopped for its style, it can be loved by the discerning hop seeker but is designed for wheat beer lovers, to try and stir them to other styles of beer and the taste of hops. It’s called "Take my Adweisse" to get weisse drinkers (notoriously barricaded behind the style) to try and drink other hoppier beers. That’s why there’s no trace what so ever of weisse yeast!

Bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours tiny hazy golden with a rather big frothy white head that leaves lots of sticky trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is hoppy fresh and tiny herbal with crackers, grapefruit juice, lemon zest, freshly cut grass, lemon grass, lemon balm, overripe citrus fruits and hints of cape gooseberries, soap and hints of persimmon. Taste is bitter, tiny fruity and tiny herbal with crackers, lemon balm, grapefruit juice, pine needles, lemon zest, dried apricots, green grapes, freshly cut grass, Thai basil, minerals, lemony soap and hints of cape gooseberries. Mouthfeel is crisp, tiny astringent and light bodied. Finding is bitter, tiny fruity and tiny herbal with cracker, lemon balm, lemon grass, grapefruit rinds, pine needles, grass and hints of lemony soap. I very much like this. Very refreshing!

Bottle. A hazy, golden beer topped by a two-finger off-white colored head. The aroma is yeasty and chalk-like, with citrus peel and pine cones. There’s a pretty decent bitterness in the flavor, with citrus peel and a little maltyness. Medium to full body, dry and with a nice carbonation level. Lasting finish. A quite nice one, although the aroma isn’t a favorite of mine and the beer is pretty one dimensional. 140207

33cl bottle. Pours hazy golden with small/medium white frothy head (lasting). The aroma is so citrusy, but also worth to mention the wheat presence and a slight touch of cereals. The flavour contains quite a lot of hops along with wheat and hints of yeast. One can possibly get some flowery notes as well. Dry palate. Medium body, perfect carbonation. Overall it’s a really nice blend, very easy to drink and refreshing. Could be more balanced, but it’s still good.

Grifo. Vaso Shaker. On-tap. Shaker glass. Pale straw color, foggy appearance. White, close & lasting crown. Fresh bread, yeast & flowers to the nose. Malty at first sip is blowed up by sharp floral bitterness. Light body. Moderate carbonation. Oily texture & untuous palate. Pine needles & resins in the middle & hints of raw pineapple open a long bitter finish.
