Aromat pralin czekoladowych, wiśni w czekoladzie, wędzonych śliwek, lekko karmelowy. Barwa prawie czarna z rubinowo brunatnymi refleksami. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, niska. W smaku czekoladki (z gorzkiej czekolady) z likierem, troszkę kawy. Niezła kawowa goryczka.

Pours dark amber with little white head. A distinct aroma of mango, herbs, resin and hints of toffee. A full-bodied taste with hints of coffee and chocolate, alcohol is present as well. A strong bitter finish.

Flaske 330ml delt med Rune og naboen på Nerstranda 4 Nov 11. Batch 3. Ultramørk rødbrun. Lavt litt farget skum. Nydelig lakrisaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er syrlig frukt & lakris. Godt balansert. Variert avslutning som toner ut som lakris. Toppøl!

330 mml bottle tasted on the 12/11/2014. Dark brown colour with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruits, roasted malts, chocolate, strawberry and some coffee. Taste is roasted malts and dark fruits with medium bitter finish and presence of the chocolate. Medium body and medium carbonation. Well balanced. Next one please!

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Vika and shared with Finn back home. Deep, dark ruby coloured body under a low, bubbly, tan-coloured head. Dark fruity nose alongside nicely roasted dark malts. Well blended taste of roasted dark malts and dried fruits, chocolate, liquorice, coffee, leather, pine and raisin. Solid malt-fruity ending. Oily palate. Full bodied.

Stor fyllig kropp. Mjuk munkänsla. En fantastiskt god öl. Eller så här, fantastíco!

Draft at Brasserie 4:20. Pours very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, fudge, caramel, some hops but mostly just RIS style. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Pierwsze piwo które oceniłem na maximum punktów. Najlepsza ciemna IPA jaką miałem okazję pić. Zakochałem się w tym stylu po wypiciu tego piwa. CONGRATULATIONS ITALY FOR THIS BEER !!

9% ABV. Black double IPA. No head. Skinny tan sliver of a head. Nose full of chocolate, caramel and plums which a very unexpected thing for an imperial stout...oh wait, it’s a IPA which would explain the fruity floral dimension to the nose. That’s about all that you get of the IPA. The 9% ABV and the "black" mean that all you get are notes of licorice, burnt sugar, caramel, malted barley and a harsh alcoholic finish. charred oak with a faint medicinal finish. Kinda makes it difficult to appreciate the depth of what is no doubt a complex beer. I’m left with a sense of lingering loss after a pint ...
