3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Kihoskh.
Clear, dark brown with a red hue and a thick two finger beige head that lace.
Sweet caramel, spicy dark bread, nuts, spice, licorice, minty alcohol.
Syrupy sweet caramel, slightly burrnt bread, perfume, spice and alcohol.
Medium to big body, soft carb, oily sticky.
Pretty good despite the pretty heavy flavours and high sweetness. But don’t let it air/warm up too much. It got perfumy and hot.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
500 ml bottle from Birra+. Lighter than expected: dark copper/light brown, perfectly clear, with an average, creamy and persistent beige head. Intense and inviting nose, extremely nutty (almonds especially), roasted malts, sweet milk chocolate, toffee, coffee powder, light hint of alchool but not in a bad way. Surprisingly complex. Nice smooth and velvety mouthfeel, small warming sensation but for 8% ABV it’s prefectly normal. More sweet than bitter, again roasty/toasty, tiny astringency/sourness (think blackberries), forever lasting aftertaste of nuts, sweet chocolate and espresso notes. Dangerously drinkable. Soft carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. By far my favourite Revelation Cat beer, this is really good.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
8% this pours a reddish brown with a filmy long lasting head. The nose is a rich fudge caramel syrup. Effervescent medium-light body. It has a solid flavor of nuts, caramel, liquid smoke a bit metallic. Bready caramel in the aftertaste - solid.

bottle from kihoskh.
clear brown, smooth brown head. nutty and roasted malty aroma. Very nice aroma, topped off by mild hoppy bitterness. roasted nuts.. nice.. flavor is brown sugar, roasted malts, bitterness resembling licorice, begins slightly sweet and ends malty bitter, going more and more malty bitter in the aftertaste. Wow.. probably one of the best brown ales i ever had.
