4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Flocci (33) - BELGIUM - APR 30, 2013
This is a competitor for Cantillon when it comes to tartness. Quite a complex taste, with a finish that my wife described as "a hint of vomit". Some bitterness and acidity there do in fact have something which resembles bile and stomach acid. But, contrary to its somewhat disgusting description, this is an excellent lambic. Girardin never disappoints.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Hazy orange body with an off-white head. Aroma is citric fruity with rubber and some barnyard. Flavor is light malty and quite acidic. Sweet, bitter, fruity and acidic. A nice combo, but I prefer the Simcoe.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 buzzoven (376) - JAPAN - SEP 26, 2010
Don’t know what those Revelation Cat guys are up to...but i like it. Sampled their beers at the 2010 Yokohama Beer Fest and they stood out as the only brewery offering Lambiks and they wer dry-hopped lambiks to boot! Wow! Sour, hoppy, acidic, peppery...and fun!
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 KnutAlbert (5212) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 17, 2010
Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010.
Rounder, softer, more fruity than the Amarillo version. Yet the lambic shines through, giving a crips lemon sourness to the finish, underlined by the hops.

Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and light light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20100506]
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 yngwie (10798) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2010
On tap at KØ-10. A hazy, golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Tropical fruits and some rubber in the aroma, lemon peel too. Lemon, barnyard and tropical fruits in the mouth, dry, full-bodied and puckering. Really lovely flavor in this one, but I’m still doubtful whether the dry-hopping is a good idea or not. At least it’s not a good idea to discard the non-dry-hopped lambics. 100506
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Papsoe (25129) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2010
On tap. Cloudy and opaque orangey golden with a small, rough off-white head. Dry Lambic notes in the aroma but also distinct Nelson Sauvin. Medium body, flat, dry, smooth again with evident Nelson Sauvin. Dry and tart finish. I think the hops are coming through the most in this version. 080510
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 mjs (3665) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 23, 2010
(Draught at Mikkeller Bar - quite probably this one and not the 3 Fonteinen one) Poured amber and cloudy. Head was quite large and white. Aroma contained sourness, fruitiness, black currant leaves and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sourness, black currant leaves, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sour and bitter. Nice experiment.
