3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, light heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange, wood notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO the most balanced of the four !

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
CBF09. 37.5 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma is the same as the two others: spiced and herbal fruity. Sweet and fruity and hoppy base flavour. Light wooden acacia astringent note. Dry and bitter finish. The acacia wood gives somewhat of an edge to the beer - interesting.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled Hazy orange, small head.
The hop aromas are diminished by the wood. Tastes more or less like the reference stuff, just less. Wood aging of double IPAs is always a silly idea.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is less fruity than the Reference, but sweaty as well; the flavor is mellower and a bit more sour; this all doesn’t combine as well in the final.

Hazy blond color (lighter than the other 3 versions). Nice Nelson Sauvin aroma in the beginning, turning into a more herbal hop later. Good fruity malt flavor, evident passion fruit and grapefruit, round mouthfeel. Solid.
