Bottle from Bierkoning. Nice bronze body with thin head. Really sugary and malty nose. Taste is quite dark but then gets smoother, sweeter. Lots of honey. Hard to detect the hops. Will be interesting to see how the other beers stack up.

Slayer85 (1044) - Firenze, ITALY - JAN 5, 2010
Corked bottle. A cloudy medium amber beer with a large, frothy, creamy, lacing and mostly lasting white head. The aroma is very hoppy and powerful with a good maltiness. There are notes of pineapple, grapefruit, passion fruit and others. Pleasant nose. The flavour is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, long finish with high bitterness, lightly alcoholic. Not abrasive and one of the best in its style.
