Pour is dark brown/black with a gigantic bellowing tan head that never really goes away. Aroma is of roasted malts, dry toast, and some ground coffee. Flavor and body is dry with notes of coffee and dark roast. Light to medium bodied.

Draft @ Doherty’s East Ave Irish Pub. On 2 Feb 2013. Black color in poor bar lighting. Head was huge and cascading and never died. Layers of lacing. Aroma of Chocolate and weak coffee grounds. Flavor of heavy roasted grain, mild coffee notes. The body is medium with the texture being nicely creamy. Slightly drying finish. I would order this again if I was craving a dry stout.
