3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught. Hazy golden pour with a medium fizzy head. Aroma of pepper, yeast and barnyard funk. Easy drinking with a lasting slightly tart finish. Not bad but something was slightly off.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thanx Ryan for the bottle.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance had a decent somewhat hazy orange color to it. A nice half finger-ed white foamy head dissipated within less than a minute leaving some light lacing.
The smell had a decent sweet/spicy Belgian malt conglomerating itself inside of a slightly bready/yeasty infused "blonde-like" ale-ness (did that just make sense, probably not to anyone other than me reading this, but no one reads my reviews anyways?).
The taste was decently sweet and a tad of spiciness tried to invade but settles just a tad in the background on this one.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there but not overbearing - as it was sweet and slightly spicy.
Overall, good saison I’d have again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Track 84 Warwick
Comes to the table a slightly hazy light golden color and a smallish off white head. Aromas of light funk, bread, bits of lemon, clove, and pepper. The flavor follows the aroma well. Light refreshing easy to drink, I enjoyed this a bit.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Yellow haze, quite heady. Citrusy hoppy aroma... and then it all went south. Hoppy flavor with grain notes which was decidedly off and, well, bad. Too dry. Had to dump it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
5 oz. taster @ R.I. Brewfest 2 February 2013. Aroma of citrus, Belgian yeast and pale malts. Taste was fantastic! Belgain yeast upfront with light barnyard. Followed by citrus hops and rounded out by sweet maltiness. The finish is crisp and refreshing. Carbonation gives a wonderful effervescent feel. Nicely balanced. Hats off to the brew master, great job Mr. Larkin!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A hazed amber saison with a thin off white head. In aroma, loads of oranges and spices malt, mint twigs, not bad. In mouth, smooth oily spiced malt with nice grassy notes, hay, not bad. Tasted at Drink Craft Beer Summerfest Fest, July 14 2012.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Doherty’s. Served in a pint glass with little to no head. A medium clear golden brew. Good carbonation. Light sweet cirtus-fruit aromas. Flavor is a good mix of light sweetness and fruit with good hop balance. Very easy drinking and flavorful enough to keep it interesting. Clean, crisp finishd. Light lingering spice-fruit notes.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Track 84 - Warwick, RI. Bready, spicey, dried herbal nose. Edges ever so slightly towards a bit of plastic. Hops come in relatively quickly, but there’s a rather strong sweetness, which I don’t enjoy in the style. Could use a bit more carbonation too. Otherwise, I think the Saison yeast flavors are better than most American examples. An early batch, that I assume will need some smoothing out.
