3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate complex yeast and floral hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex bittersweet hop flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer that exceeded my expectations.

Normal size fucken can @ home, courtesy of TheAlum! Thanks! Pours! Pretty clear rust orange appearance with a nice fluffy tan head. Pretty fucken spicy hops in the nose. Some pine and dank for sure. Some doughy, citrusy notes as well. Pretty heavy carbonation. Juicy grapefruit and banana flavor with vanilla, spice, herbs, and grass. Ok but doesn’t blow my mind.

Bottle shared with Jcwattsrugger. Pours gold with white head. Nose of canned pineapple, mango, peach, Belgian yeast, lemon and malt. Taste is same, but weaker with more artificial pineapple. Body on lighter side of medium.

Sample at The Pint Room. Pours a slightly hazy orange-gold color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Citrus, yeast and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, yeast and grassy hops. The finish is fruity with a yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.

UPDATED: MAY 15, 2013 Recently re-tried this. It is yeast dominated but can pick up the hops mroe. Tried it again form the bottle and this is really awesome when it warms up.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of grapefruit with light citrus, resin and a bread backbone. Flavor has a combination of citrus and grapefruit with a bit of rind and a bread backbone.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy gold color with a small white head that settles into a lasting foamy ring. Big, fruity nose; floral notes, citrus, and tropical fruits. Later, the hops shift to a more oily, herbal style. Interesting transition. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Like a Belgian IPA.

12oz can, canned 1/29/13. Can is labeled 6.8%. Clear yellow orange color. Thin white head, little lace. Nice, grassy citrusy hop nose. Medium body. Smooth lighter carbonation, nice crisp character to it. More dry texture. Bitter taste, zesty sweet, with some belgian yeast flavors. Adds a kind of pear, citrus and spicy note. Nice orange citrus flavor, the Citra hop is noticeable here, but the belgian yeast adds a bit of sweetness that I’m not sure I dig. Wouldn’t be a belgian style pale ale though without it, though. Call it an American-Style BPA. Solid.
