3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fr0m a can (N0T fr0m The can... 0h, wait. I already used that.) - Nice g0ld/br0nze b0dy, tiny bubbled, with a m0dest head that rapidly reduces t0 a film. The ar0ma is spicy with h0ps - fl0ral (snapdrag0ns?), resiny, with tangerine and 0range rind - 0ver a light breadiness. The flav0r (which we’re t0ld can 0nly be sweet, bitter, s0ur, salty, and umami - I’m glad I’m stupid) sees the additi0n 0f bananas and 0ther fruit (umami apple?) with a black pepper bitterness (which I can taste, minus the pepper c0mment). Dry finish, mildly bitter and fruity. Nice sec0nd runnings beer, gentlebrewers!

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at an esbls tasting. Very clear and dark golden. Minimal head. Some nice hops hit my nose first. Floral and citrus with honey. Those are tasted with with dry bitterness. Some yeast but just a bit. This is tasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from a sixer purchased at Aficionado’s. Clear gold pour with a huge white head. Malty nose with big pepper notes along with Belgian esters and grassy hops. Malty flavor with banana and clove accents and some nice pepperiness before a piney hop finish. Solid Belgian IPA.

On tap at Revolution. Nice citrus and faint tropical notes in the nose atop a bit of spice. Flavor is a bit hoppy with nice yeast character in the background. Light-medium body. A bit of bread.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml bottle shared by Brian. Medium bodied, very mellow and sessionable. Nice tropical tones, a mix of Simcoe or Summit or Nelson or something and Belgian yeast, really compement each other well and merge effortlessly. Very clean. Solid offering.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz can via trade. Poured a rusty bronze body under an average sized frothy off white head. Aroma is citrus, lemons and tangerine, yeast, breads, tea. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a slightly syrupy finish. Flavor is yeasty, bread grains, citrus rinds, tea leaves, touch old lemons. Nice stuff.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Smells like an ipa, grapefruit rind olfactory., perhaps a lot like mild b/o. Taste is at first I think a little too hoppy then it evolves into this backbone of a lemon unsweetened fruit thing. yes, each swig the same; an aroma of mild b/o then a palate finish of a lemony furniture polish thing. Finish is APA. Probably not a belgdy if you are looking for this style, yes, more like an apa - but so what, its beer. Yep, no way is this anything like an old country belgian. Ita a wannah beeeeee.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma is Belgian yeast, pine and hops. The flavor is light grapefruit, fruit, Belgian yeast funk, malts and a dry and bitter finish. Reminds me a little of Duvel Triple Hop, the hops here are a little more bitter and drier than most American ales.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can (2013 assumedly) in a trade with theAlum, drunk on 2/16/14
Slightly hazy orange-amber beer is topped by a small white head that recedes to cover.
TROPICAL FRUITS. Yes, this is nice. Pineapple, mango, kiwi, that sort of thing. Lush, green hops and citric notes follow up the tropical fruit notes and a lightly sweet crystal malt note provides balance. Medium high to high strength of aroma, no flaws and just pure, aromatic hoppiness without all the acidity.
Hop bitterness, incredibly juicy fruit hop flavor and almost the perfect amount of pale malt sweetness collide on the palate. Soft texture and light but engaging carbonation keeps it drinkable, though it does get too sweet by the end of the glass. Bubble gum and light mango esters build on the finish and it gets a bit wit beerish but the hops are done so well they could almost put arsenic in this stuff and it wouldnt matter. Need to try more from these guys....
