A citrusy and refreshing Belgian-style pale ale hopped with Cascade, Citra, and whole Crystal hops for massive aromas and flavors! Fermented with our Belgian Wit yeast for an extra dose of complexity, this one is very drinkable and extremely aromatic.

Per Wil Turner, this is a second runnings beer from Institutionalized Barleywine’s runoff.

22 oz. bottle. Pours a glowing orange pour with a small white head. Aroma of big pine and citrus hops intertwined with spicy belgian yeast. Flavor is sippy, lots of nice belgian yeast and bitter hop notes. Some citrus, song banana, and mild spice tones. It’s medium bodied, finishes long and bitter.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of peach, mango, pineapple, lemon zest, orange zest, banana, tangerine, pear, apple, floral, grass, clove, pepper, light pine, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great citrus/tropical hop complexity with a moderate yeast and malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big peach, pineapple, mango, tangerine, banana, lemon zest, orange zest, clove, pepper, pine, floral, grass, bread, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness. Moderate earthy tartness and spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, pineapple, citrus zest, banana, clove, pepper, pine, floral, grass, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome balance and complexity of hop and yeast flavors; with a moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent Belgian pale ale! All around great balance and complexity of hop, yeast, and malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

Pours a pale golden color with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is floral & fruity in a very hop forward kind of way. It’s pungent and bright with just a light alcohol character.

The flavor is enjoyably bitter & plenty hop forward in a very fruity kind of way, lots o’ pineapple, mango & citrus... the beer comes off as a touch sweet, but all around packs a pretty nice hop profile.

I think this may well be the best beer I’ve had from Revolution and a very damn good Belgian IPA type beer. It’s crystal clear and bright orange. Its head is thin but of fine bubbles and leaves behind sheets of lace as it dissipates. This is just a wonderful combination of fruity yeast and fruity hops and like in the very best of this style, it is hard to tell where they yeast ends and the hops begin. It’s big and citrusy w/ lots of pineapple and hints of cloves and spice. The fruitiness implies sweetness but it finishes relatively dry with a touch of bitterness and that, along w/ fine carbonation, keeps this nice and drinkable. This beer really impresses me w/ its bright, supple fruitiness. Not everyone likes this style of beer but if you do, this is an absolute must try. Have at it!

12 oz can purchased at Lalo’s Mexican Restaurant located in the Midway airport main terminal boulevard food court in Chicago, Illinois. The pour is a clear golden copper with a one inch light tan head. The aroma is fresh grass, floral hops along with a spice Belgian yeast. The taste is the nose, nice clean mix of the hops and the Belgian yeast notes. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and a lightly bitter finish. Nice, happy to find this at Midway (this place also had Revolution Anti-Hero IPA).

12oz can 1/11/14 (Trader Joe’s Naperville)-40° in Trappist Glass-Pours a light amber with a nice off white head. Aroma of hops and yeast. Taste of hops, yeast, and malt. This medium bodied brew is not bad as the Belgian aspect comes thru on the back end. Not my favorite for this style but still pretty tasty.

On tap at Nano Brew Cleveland. Pours a clear orange brown with a thick white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, grainy malt, sweaty/stinky hops. Flavor of bready malt, grain, melon rind, sweet fruit, and bitter grassy hops in the finish. Tasty Belgian hoppy IPA. The hops could be slightly more prominent but that’s my only complaint 7/4/8/4/14 (3.7/5)

7% can from CBB Seed. It pours a clear orange copper gold with a great fruity hop bouquet a soft belgian spice notes. Wonderfully soft mouthfeel with a round carbonation. The taste is bitter a bit metallic, spicy & fruity - a really well balanced BPA. Probably my favorite beer today.
