3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a crystal clear, darker gold colored body with a thin, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is a nice mix of fruity hops and yeast. Crisp citruses, some florals, light grass, tropical fruits, a few yeasty esters, and some dry herbal notes. Pale malt backing with some doughy yeast and a touch of spice. Flavor is similar. Tropical fruits, citrus, and a light Belgian yeast note up front. Dry grass, florals, and a pale malt backing come in during the middle with some doughy yeast and herbal hops showing up at the end. Finishes dry and clean with a light bitterness. Nice dry citrus, tropical fruit, pale malt, light Belgian yeast balance in a medium length aftertaste. Light body with a moderate carbonation. Overall, a really nice pale ale. Crisp and fruity hops with nice dryness balanced well with a light pale malt backing and light Belgian yeast influence. Very enjoyable beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 12 ounce can. Pours a translucent, lighter copper with a creamy white head of foam. Aroma is sweet with lots of citrus and sweet Belgian candi sugar. Taste is fruity sweet and a mild bitterness toward the finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from Binny’s downtown. Clear copper color with a white head. Smells like a sweet, perfumey IPA. Yes I can see where this has some Belgian notes to it. Really a pretty tasty ale overall.

Had this on draft at the revolution taproom/brewery. Very dry beer. Little like champagne. Tart. Unusual. Can't figure this one out. Ok beer

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12/17/2013: Revolution A Little Crazy... Well, this beer tastes exactly like the style it’s labeled to be, a Belgian Pale Ale. At first sip, the Belgian yeast spice, caramel/fruitcake malt, and fleshy fruits come through and then the citrusy, melon, and FLORAL hops layer in on top. There is a suggestion of tropical fruits as well and the biterness level is moderate which is right on for the style. This beer is on point and quite easy to quaff, but nothing special and sadly, easily forgettable. 22 fl. oz. bottle shared by dirhauge. Thanks Paul!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Mikkeler Bar, Copenhagen. Golden blond coloured beer with a rather light carbonation and a short white head. Rather fruity light hoppy pilsener malty hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. FInish is light fruity hoppy, touches of orange peel. Refreshing hoppy, not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from pantanap...thanks Kan! - Pours clear light amber with a thin white head. Nose is dank, oniony hops, citrus, light pine, and grass. Real pungent, and only a hint of sweet malt peeks through. Taste still has the oniony, garlicy, piney hops, but a lightly spicy sweet bread malt base underneath. Real smooth velvety mouthfeel, gentle carbonation, and a fairly hefty body. Good stuff.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of peach, mango, pineapple, lemon zest, orange zest, banana, tangerine, pear, apple, floral, grass, clove, pepper, light pine, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great citrus/tropical hop complexity with a moderate yeast and malt balance; and good strength. Taste of big peach, pineapple, mango, tangerine, banana, lemon zest, orange zest, clove, pepper, pine, floral, grass, bread, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness. Moderate earthy tartness and spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, pineapple, citrus zest, banana, clove, pepper, pine, floral, grass, light honey, and floral/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome balance and complexity of hop and yeast flavors; with a moderate malt balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, crisp, and lightly acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent Belgian pale ale! All around great balance and complexity of hop, yeast, and malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
